Conservatives don't care about people saying this and it's a pretty common word in their vocabulary. Yes, even in 20-whenever this video is from, for the people that are somehow shocked that she said it. The only thing shocking is that she acknowledged that it was an "offensive word".
Whether the GOP agrees with her or not is irrelevant. Her existence serves a purpose for them. As long as they have people like her around in prominent positions they get to play the "cancel culture/censorship" card when the other side calls it out, which continues to allow them to keep their base energized and riled up.
