Wasn't the casting couch thing some "I heard Funimation used a casting couch to cast some VAs" hearsay mostly as an attack against Funimation as a company and less a personal attack, though with maybe a not so subtle hint-hint-nudge-nudge to give the impression to impressionable ISWV idiots that it's Sabat. Ultimately Vic is the only one with a proven relationship of some kind with someone who worked on something where Vic could have had the power to hire her through such actions.

It's funny because outside of coming clean and owning up to anything, him quietly distancing himself from this disaster is the most sound-of-mind showbiz tactic. If it weren't for this lawsuit, he'd even manage to skulk away for a while and salvage what little sway and influence he has, maybe join a right wing studio, or an online channel etc. But, because of this mess of a lawsuit he himself started (before becoming somewhat aware of how bad it is), he has amplified the extent of damage to himself and his livelihood further than he ever feared.
