First time I've ever been glad for content removal in a remaster.
Considering servers are still up for the original, Anthem and even Andromeda that doesn't make too much sense, they'd have a fresh playerbase who would buy the packs like I would.Collections like this rarely end up with their multiplayer components intact. Server costs and all that.
Holy shit so it wasn't just a rumor? I've been ignoring the other thread thinking it was bullshit lol. What about the ending tho.
"is there a way we can get this on the frostbite engine?"So they're going back to make sure to fuck that one up too, huh?
They're going to change the best Mass Effect game and remove the good thing from the worst Mass Effect game.
You mean to tell me the best game in the series is holding things back because it isn't as bad as the rest of the series?
Yeah I had a lot of fun with it back in the day.
All signs point to there being no Switch version right now at all.If Switch versions are direct ports, there might be a chance they could come out earlier, who knows?
*depressed high-five*They're going to change the best Mass Effect game and remove the good thing from the worst Mass Effect game.
ME3 Multiplayer was the best part...
Can they at least implement the use of those multiplayer characters, classes, and abilities in ME3?
Oh boy here we ago again, 2010 discourse.ME1 has some real RPG elements, what came after were shooters with an RPG lite flavor at the expense of the RPG mechanics and world building.
I honestly maintain that Mass Effect 1 was the only truly great game in that series. 2 and 3 are both fine, but ME1 was something special. Landing on planets and being able to explore mostly empty wastelands with really interesting, at times, skyboxes just felt good to me.
Well, good luck to them then.Getting ME1 to the standards of ME2/ME3 from a gameplay perspective is *way* too much work. They would have to redesign enemies, levels, and powers. That would have to be near remake tier.
Yep, this game would never be made the way it was in 2020.As excited as I am for this release, it definitely makes me a bit sad. There was nothing this gen that was remotely close to Mass Effect in terms of a huge, sprawling, choice-driven narrative that spanned three games. It was just such an incredible thing at the time, and more so in retrospect.
