I haven't fucked with Bill Maher for years, but I can't erase his influence on left-leaning media or my own slowly-developing political awareness. He was a much-needed comedic release throughout the Bush era. He's become far worse over time, but I won't pile on people for having appeared on his show.

2 more weeks and hopefully we all get to move on to obsessing over trying to figure out how much material harm Trump can actually do on his way out. Basically time to build a list of all kinds of executive powers that need a second look after the transition.

The extra details I'm reading on this Rudy scene in Borat makes it really interesting that Rudy is talking about child porn on the bullshit laptop.

I assumed that was a nod to Q, but it might be damage control from Rudy.

I mean I'm not gonna cancel Mel over it or anything, but Bill always sucked even during the Bush years, you should have had your political awareness get developed by stewart/colbert like meeeeeeeee 😎

I was driving through my neighborhood last week and I was really excited to see a couple of Biden signs up!

...Then I drove to the neighborhood I'm moving to this weekend and saw a couple of Trump signs.

Maria Bakalova should probably get an Academy Award. If she was convincing enough to make Rudy think someone wanted to have any sort of sexual contact, that's an automatic Oscar win in my book. That's profoundly good acting.
