This is the worst imaginable time for a pandemic in the US given trust in government is like... zero. Half the country doesn't trust the guy in charge and the other half has been told by the guy in charge not to trust anyone. Trump politicized the goddamn weather service. I can see lack of testing in the US being a real problem actually. They didnt ask enough about that. The response was just 'we are testing the people coming in' trump speak. I mean, imagine the power struggle, if you just fired the entire pandemic team in 2018(which he did), you got a few folks now calling shots and if they decide its better to not report and suffer a few thousand more deaths, or do test and report and risk panic, i can legit see these guys doing that.
The best part was the press allowing themselves to be disarmed into laughter by Trump's (likely never happened) story about the person he saw who hugged him and then said they were sick.

Maddow rattling off all the quarantines and voluntary travel restrictions - all employees of nestle prohibited from travel. 83 people under quarantine in nassau county, ny. One case in Northern CA of unknown origin - basically they didn't travel or come into contact with anyone possibly having coronavirus. A few of these unknown origin cases are popping up worldwide, scary. Kids don't seem to be getting it, anywhere.
Watching Biden in the town hall made me realize just how compassionate he really is and his ability to connect with people is something Trump could never do on his best day. He may gaffe here and there but you guys are waaay to rough on him I feel, and I would be just fine and proud to vote for him if hes the nominee.
