Just to be clear on those MSNBC numbers, they are from embedded reporters. They're not representative CDs. Clearly, Bernie is going to win big, but there's no evidence CURRENTLY to suggest he's going to end up in the 40s.

Another 4th place finish for Warren would be pretty bad

Biden finishing higher than 4th in a Presidential primary for the first time in his life

*Chris Matthews and Chuck Todd shit their pants*

OMG ALL OF MSNBC NEEDS TO BE BURNED TO THE GROUND!!!!!

I dunno, just shit on the people actually being shitty instead of the entire network or anyone who might just have a good-faith difference of opinion from you?

Is Bernie really going to be the nominee? I honestly would have never guessed in a million years. Ask me two months ago and I would have bet my life savings on Biden being a lock.

In the span of 6 months, we've had Biden on top, Warren on top, Biden back on top, and now Bernie on top.

This primary is going to be memorable for so many reasons, good and bad.

The Pete speaker at our place spent their entire time talking about Bernie and how Bernie and Trump are endorsed by Russia. Lot of idiots in Reno.

Honestly during the time i was reading all the 'msnbc is melting down' posts, probably from nobody actually watching the channel because thats what people do now, i was watching and didnt see a single negative thing against bernie. I know they had Carvil on and he isnt crazy about the idea, but i saw him speak too and he was all on about 'there is now a clear front runner in the race'. Typical agendas.

Mathews gets too much attention - his wife is in politics so he has vested interest in certain candidates, and not others.

What's good to see here is that it is possible to win a state if you a) focus on it early enough, and b) stay consistent on your own messaging. You can even overcome biases and stay ahead of establishment-leaning challengers. Someone will prove this out decisively for their campaign on Super Tuesday.

MSNBC with the E3 Giant Bomb esque break camera.

Maybe but it's developing into a pattern at MSNBC where they keep getting the same type of pundits and guest speakers like Carville. It's not just those two either, those are the two with the craziest takes.

I thought it was a joke mostly with Matthews being the butt of MSNBC having a bad time of Sanders but it seems like it's up and down the line for them, to rank and fire reporters too which is idk kinda fucking weird.

MSNBC is pundit operated, the whole reporting has a while now has been straight trash.

I mean, shit they had fucking Joy Reid spend a segment arguing that Bloomberg was the correct candidate because of money and his former experience as a Republican. You're telling me a woman of colour is telling me that the Democratic Party should choose the man who supported redlining, stop and frisk and institutional sexual harassment from him and his businesses because he has money and was a Republican so knows how to fight Republicans.

That might be a difference in opinion but it is a super god awful stupid opinion that is likely born out of a desperation to stop Bernie and Trump.

Exactly, if it was just one person going nuts then you end up with a CNN situation where said person loses their job or goes on a holiday. But MSNBC has a consistent pattern and I don't think can be given the benefit of the doubt anymore.

Does Chris Matthews ever piss his pants when Trump is literally one breath away from saying "kill all reporters" every day?

Ya, I've had it on the whole time. And it's been pretty fine balance wise. Carville is Carville. Joy spent the entire time talking about how whichever constiuency is the hungriest tends to win, and Bernie's supporters are currently the hungriest.

Just like in society, we have to acknowledge that the only reason Matthews is able to call people who just want healthcare, education, and an end to deportations Nazis -- NAZIS -- is because MSNBC is enabling him and giving him a platform. Calling out Matthews specifically does nothing. Dude is off the deep end. Demanding the platform do better might actually lead to change.

Yeah, MSNBC is fair and balanced as they compare Bernie Sanders and his supporters to Hitler and Nazis and say he'll execute Chris Matthews in the street.

Right like idk, CREEPING SOCIALISM bs is one thing but we're at the point where kids are fucking locked in cages, we had the admin booting anyone who doesn't kiss the ring out on their ass and we just went through impeachment, but man going left is way too wild there folks.

Cable news is pointless. Shit on all of it. If you want worthwhile analysis, watch PBS Newshour segments where experts come on and discuss things.

If you just want entertainment, pro wrestling style, you can watch Chris Matthews cut incoherent promos against Bernie on MSNBC.

President Obama being both black and competent really fucked up everything for some white folks. These people aren't in any way in touch with reality.

Anyone who didn't see Sanders coming in NV given the polling was fucking blind, roll with it folks. Biden and his crew said they wanted a more diverse state and they've clearly falling flat as fuck on their faces even couching expectations. This is gonna be it.

MSNBC continues to employ Chris Matthews so I think it's fair to criticize them. Where you lose me is the idea that Matthews somehow speaks for the entire Democratic Party apparatus.

I watch cable news for entertainment, not objective news. So I am greatly enjoying these takes on MSNBC.

That's comical about the Nevada GOP censuring Romney. I missed that Louisiana already did that a week or two ago. And look at the text of LA's censure, it's cult level garbage. The same State party did not censure David Duke in 1989 btw. Being a Klan leader is apparently more tolerable than not voting for Trump (one of the items in this censure). Romney also "made belligerent comments about Trump while ignoring far more egregious conduct by Dems". OK.

Chris, why is everyone so consumed with rage? Did they close the PF Chang's in Times Square? Or have they stopped running The Lion King matinees?

Y'all are more upset than anyone on MSNBC has been all day, so idk?
Yeah, despite me laughing at some of the takes on air, I think they've largely been making decent analysis about what's happening in NV so far? They seem to be saying that he's pulled together the broadest coalition so he's most likeliest to win, which is true? Also, his inroads to the Hispanic community have helped a ton here and that his voters are the hungriest to win right now.
I think all of that is true, Chris Matthews rambling aside haha

The second tweet is literally not what happened! Like, why do we post things from random Twitter people and then use it to go OMG HOW BAD IS MSNBC RITE GUYS!?

So, if one wants to report on something and act as though they are some kind of expert on it, I'd start by saying they should know who Jennifer Palmieri is instead of just "some white woman." And what she said was not that Latinx kids were manipulating their parents. Jesus H. Christ. What Palmieri said was that a lot of younger kids might have been the gateway for a lot of folks to come to Bernie. That was it. There was no implication, let alone outright statement, that Latinx voters were in anyway being manipulated.
We get it adam. You think it's cool to compare a Jewish man and his supporters to the Nazis.
How fucking dare you. My family is Jewish and my great grandparents escaped the Holocaust.
