This explains a lot...
Iowa results no longer matter. The story is going to be about the incompetence of the DNC, and abolishing the caucus system.
With impeachment and SOTU the results here no longer matter. This is actually pretty bad for Pete (and also not good for Bernie) since his over performance in Iowa is completely over shadowed in the new media by botched caucus system.
And then we are going to go straight it SITU and impeachment after this which means all of this non sense will be behind us.
Thought the DNC helped Iowa dems set it up?
Robby said:Sorry, folks. I did NOT have anythjng to do with building the Iowa caucus app. I dont know anything about it, had no role in it, and dont own a company that makes mobile appa. Please contact
@iowademocrats
with questions about it.
He's making a math joke
Warrens was way more positive/optimistic/ less I AM THE SENATE feelignSanders speech is the same as most others except you're getting m4a "whether you like it or not", that seems new. But I'll give it this, each point made is concise and clear.
Bernie is on perpetual loop 24/7 and it's annoying. I raise an eyebrow when i hear different content from him.I don't get this speech by Bernie. If this was his victory speech, it's not good. it's just his standard stump.

Biden and Yang are going that route.Typical Bernie speech, thank god he didn't go into "rigging" because even he knows this isn't normal and not accuse anyone.
Robbie Mook trying his best
Sure, and it also sounds like he's a bit annoyed he doesn't have any real results to talk about right now.
IDP statement says 35% of precincts reportedI thought someone said it was 20% reported but then that Nate Silver tweet says 1.9% ?
I like the theory that this being the first year of full data, someone on the other end looked at it and was like 'oh shit they arent doing it right, maybe ever?'
Younger Dem gains not enough to offse erosion with older voters?45yo +:
2016: 64%
2020: 55% (-9%)
under 30yo:
2016: 18%
2020: 24% (+6%)
HANH? Let's talk about THAT.
Well, probably not. He's running 5th among older voters, barely getting 5%.Younger Dem gains not enough to offse erosion with older voters?
lol, wouldn't surprise me based on past experiences with elections
I'm leaning towards this having to be part of the reason for the delay. Which only further illustrates why caucuses are terrible.I like the theory that this being the first year of full data, someone on the other end looked at it and was like 'oh shit they arent doing it right, maybe ever?'
Oh, that is better. Thank you very much.
Apparently you can lol. You just don't report the results.
This is probably the reason whyI like the theory that this being the first year of full data, someone on the other end looked at it and was like 'oh shit they arent doing it right, maybe ever?'
Joy on MSNBC just made a really good point. Assuming that turnout is level or down from 2016, this is really a repudiation of the idea that Bernie can leverage some white rural surge and win the White House. It's not reality based on what the numbers might be showing.
He should be the most angry out of all of them.
