Many believe that by the Senate giving credence to a trial based on the no evidence, no crime, read the transcripts, "no pressure" Impeachment Hoax, rather than an outright dismissal, it gives the partisan Democrat Witch Hunt credibility that it otherwise does not have. I agree!

Trump earlier: "I want a big trial!"
Trump now: "I want outright dismissal!'

I'm disliking the prospect of more friction between Warren and Sanders. I just wanted them to have an endless teletubby cuddle.

Oh, they're trolls. That's it. Nah, it feels like Bernie supporters are fed up with some of the stuff that gets dished out free reign. It's only a matter of time until AOC gets that heat from posters here. I mean, people were jumping at the chance to do the same towards Omar. It's one thing to criticize an action/vote (for example her dumb non vote for Armenian genocide). It's another to just start making people out to be trash and anything said by those people there after is seen as outrageous and offensive.

It's obvious all of this is based on ideology. Try to get as many on the progressive side to be labeled as trash. Meanwhile we have someone like Adam (no offense, just used you as an example) saying he supports Klobuchar, the same person that abuses her campaign staffers. Similarly, we get pragmatic defenses of Biden, the same person who sexually harassed people, the same person who voted for the Iraq war, worked with segregationists, etc...

Notice the key difference. Those same persons make it sacrilegious to post anybody's opinion they have deemed trash, but those that line ideologically with them or they're choosing to be pragmatic towards, despite their past get free reign to post anything from them without getting attacked. Certain people based on idealogy, you're allowed to be pragmatic towards and thus free to post their content, and others you're not allowed to.

good post.

Nah
Only one can win
And one is slow in the polls
It's time to get hungry
That's true, of course, but Warren is lagging behind Bernie in early states, already. He stands a good chance to win Iowa and New Hampshire, and he has a chance of winning Nevada, too. And, although Warren has seen a bit of an uptick now, it's a bit too late for her to catch up. Bernie will likely gobble up more of her supporters after those first few states (assuming he wins them). So, any conflict between the two (when they have been allies of sorts throughout this entire process) seems unnecessary to me.
yeah for real. fuck this. i dont want them to fight

david sirota's also a shithead, imo, because he's in the clique of rich white people who get paid to write about socialism who somehow misinterprets rich white people on the far right spouting fascist ideology with "economic populism"

Jesus. I expected everyone to come at Biden Tuesday night, but at this rate, Bernie's about to catch everyone's shit. This'll be different as it'll be the first time people have really come after him as if he's a frontrunner, rather than a plucky upstart.

To be fair, he and Warren, both, faced an onslaught of attacks in the earlier debates as I recall. They tag-teamed in one debate in particular and it was glorious. Glorious!

Bernie isn't bad at sparring. How he handles a potential dogpile will be interesting. I think he'll come out okay?

How's he going to fair when Warren tries to take a piece out of him? She got dogpilled trying to make his plan work. If she wants to win, she needs to pull from him unfortunately. And with the 'memo', she has no real reason to play nice anymore.

Klobuchar is gonna tan Bernie's ass like a new intern.

Buttigieg has been really quiet since the last debate, despite his standing in Iowa.

Shannon Pettypiece @spettypi

Trump campaign official says the campaign is shifting its focus to going after Sanders. https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/1216435180220620807 …

This will only help Sanders.

I think it's bullshit, plus the Politico article doesn't go into how he obtained it at all.

Tinfoil hat says it's a setup. Easiest explanation is that it was a Sanders supporter writing a framework and seeing what people would think.

Sounds like it will end up sorted between them by the time of the debates. Not that the media might not try to mine it.

i mean given that the memo seems to be fake i don't think it'll make much difference in how she engages with him

She chose to support his plan and cave to the disingenuous calls to explain it in her way.

Also this memo has been debunked, timid as it is.

It's hilarious how much it bothers him that he's the first ever elected President to be impeached in their first term, and Obama didn't even come close to it in two terms. No matter how many deals he tears up in his childish anti-Obamaism quest, he will forever be one of the worst Presidents in history, Obama will forever be one of the best, and he knows it. Not much of reality gets absorbed by him, but you know this has. It's all he thinks about.

The past two pages of people shitting on Nina Turner like Nina is at it again or how much hatred Kirblar has for Joy Gray.

I think it's just people are ideologically opposed to them like AOC, Sirota, and Omar.
Don't throw Nina Turner in with AoC, Omar and co.

I like Bernie, Nina is a fucking jackass.

Not sure this is actually the case. He has spent a lifetime surrounded by people telling him how amazing he is. I'd wager he spends more of his time thinking about how ungrateful everybody is versus believing he isn't up to the standard of Obama's presidency.

Well, it's hard to say. One thing to note: Bernie and Biden squabbled over their respective plans a few times, but it never really got down to specifics.

Biden: Your plan is impossible! It's too expensive!
Bernie: Most developed countries have managed something similar!
Biden: You can't compare us to them! They're small countries / they have small populations!
Bernie: That's what the insurance industry wants us to think! We pay more for x than xyz!

At which point it boils down to stump speeches. It's possible for them to gang up on him in regards to specifics, but I assume he'll deflect it and stump speech some more for maximum effect.

I somehow don't think Steyer and Klobuchar will go that hard on him, honestly. They have both tried to differentiate themselves from Bernie a few times, but they have remained rather cordial. Biden and Bernie have been the most catty towards each other, honestly, and even then there were moments of lightheartedness that defused the situation.

Warren has been mostly neutral. She has only really gone for one candidate's throat and that was Pete. I don't think this will change. Especially reading the posts above mine about that memo thing being a bit sketchy.

I could be wrong. Maybe they all go HAM.

Nah, we can see how much it affects him. Also, listen to himself in 2014 here. Straight up projection, as it always is.

I haven't been watching news today. Has there been much talk about Sec Def Esper saying he wasn't aware of threats to four embassies as Trump claimed? Or has it already been written off as POTUS lying as usual to cover up crimes again?
