lol you guys are delusional. she voted for the iraq war and helped goad obama into bumping off gadaffi. she wanted an NFZ in syria. this is the track record you guys are going to bat for.

Remember in the other thread when you said "america is a dumpster hell country that deserves annihilation so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" ?

And when you said the other candidates should go scorched earth on Biden even if it means he wins the primary and loses the general?

You're openly advocating for a situation where Trump and the GOP win another four years because you hate Biden so much. And you literally stated that "if Trump went another four years without invading Iran or Venezuela then he'd have the moral high ground over Biden" which is arguably true in the most reductive sense if you somehow ignore the fact that Trump is currently allowing and enabling his cabinet and officials to try and start a war in Iran and giving Saudi Arabia nuclear technology and deliberately helping Israel further destabilize the region and push for conflict with Iran.

But if you ignore all that and apply a purely hypothetical four to six years of not doing that any more then arguably you'd have a point. Of course that means Biden and forty other Democrats and more republicans than that.

So instead of explaining how much you hate Biden (as if anyone here thinks he's the best or noblest candidate) and America would you humor us for a minute and explain what you think SHOULD happen on 2020?

Because all your positing so far is a default victory for Trump as better than a compromised win with Biden. But like, why?

I mean that totally goes along with the trollish behavior egging on a "annihilated America" via a second trump term.

look at the way biden has actually acted and voted while in the senate. then look at his refusal to apologize for any of his past, or his recent commentsa how easy young people have it. why is he better than trump by default?

It seems like your suggesting that a race between Biden and Trump there is no difference. Both sides are the same.

Yes, in 2019, we still have idiots asking the question why is 'insert democrat they hate' better than the crazy insane person in the white house who does awful shit daily and breaks the law like its his favorite hobby.

Cant wait for 2020.

so you resent trump for his personality? if biden had a similar record in office but he was more dignified about it would you think that was a massive improvement?

You guys are so thin skinned good lord. Biden has an abysmal record on race relations and mass incarceration and he voted for the iraq war which seriously calls into question his judgement on foreign policy issues. Pick any one vote and he consistently votes with the GOP. but because he has a D next to his name he's owed deference and fealty.

But he doesn't. You're actually just making stuff up.

Because he's a democrat and he's not mentally ill or incompetent or literally cartoonishly evil. Nobody here is excited about him as the candidate. Biden could be a ham sandwich with a (D) after his name and it would be safer for the nation and the world.

I'm sorry but this "Biden is worse than Trump" spree you're on is outlandish.

Are you actually unable to comprehend the difference in the statements between "running to her right" and "running from the right" or are you just disingenously trolling.
American "liberalism" already gravitates towards the center of our political spectrum. To run to Hillary's right is literally putting yourself right-of-center to an actual warhawk.

Incorrect. Biden's record is discussed in this thread all the time.

Now, if you want to focus and engage with others on issues about Biden, you'll likely find lots of agreement, and maybe a few people who would never vote for Biden under any circumstance.

But no one here is going to entertain or take seriously "Biden is the same as Trump". Because of the structure, makeup, and rules of the US Government, that won't possibly be the case.

The center isn't where you decide it is. It's (more or less) the median of the voting population. By that standard, Biden is still left of center.

i actually didnt realize that thread was shut down sorry i wont talk about the primary
To be fair, you would have barely known there was a primary thread since you joined only a few days before it was closed, and you never posted in it. Of course since the, you've said all Gen-Z people are neo-nazis, or that Biden not being viable against the current administration is a good thing, or that if you ban guns there'd be no way to enforce said ban. We really did miss your insight in that primary thread.

Is Mueller confirmed for May 15th? I have an uneasy feeling yet I feel like it's gonna be a watershed moment in this presidency - like John Dean's during Nixon.

Make it illegal to sell at both stores and gun shows, do a buyback program like Australia did, and basically let the guns in the country go if they dont do the buyback. At the end of the day a smaller % hoard all the guns, but the problem remains its insanely easy for people wanting to do mass murder if they are mentally ill or a nazi to go out and get one any day of the week.

I'm making an assumption here but I think Australian gun culture isn't as rooted in racial animus as American gun culture is. Also their gun ban was in 1993 when Australia was probably significantly more homogenous than the US has ever been.

And chose Hillary over him in 2016 as his preferred successor. (You know, I wonder what the alternate world looks like where Hillary takes the VP slot, cause it seems that would wind up saving us a whole lot of problems.)
Now just imagine the timelines where the current frontrunner is former Vice President Evan Bayh, Tim Kaine, or Kathleen Sebelius.

Though I suppose they all might have run in 2016 anyway.

I think an underrated way to "ban" guns is pull this switch-a-roo.

Basically, remove all criminal penalties for gun possession and I mean none...as long as you give up the gun when you're caught. Including anything that comes from investigating whether you have possession of a gun. You get to walk away. Unless you refuse to give up the gun.

Now that most of the report is public what does exerting executive privilege over it even do? That would have been something to do BEFORE it came out.

Thankfully that shit is getting ratioed.

I, for one, would have to have an extra $1500 to spend on nonessentials. I must not be an "average american"
