Simple trick to understanding "is it bad" or not: Does it benefit Putin?

Kind of alot of these guys involved with laundering billions upon billions of mob money dying once the operation gets exposed. WONDER WHY.

www.census.gov

Voter Turnout Rates Among All Voting Age and Major Racial and Ethnic Groups Were Higher Than in 2014

New Census Bureau data show that voting increased among all voting age and major racial and ethnic groups.

"Among 18- to 29-year-olds, voter turnout went from 20 percent in 2014 to 36 percent in 2018, the largest percentage point increase for any age group — a 79 percent jump."

Thanks everyone. It's a good habit to have.

And you know Obama will be out there campaigning with Biden and it'll look like the good ole days.

It'll be interesting to see how the general campaign works out; if he goes on a whistestop tour of his own to the blue areas of battleground states, and if he inspires the rest of the crew to do it with head held high.

Yup, saw this and flipped the channel. But calling them liars means they and their associates won't come back on the show, though. Since his wife is still part of the admin, there's always a chance for an inadvertent scoop, I guess.

AKA leverage on the Zuckers out there who transitioned news to entertainment with news that only see value in drama and strife.

None of them wants two liberals, an independant, and a NT on there going "yeah this shit's fucked up" cuz concensus, empathy, and common sense doesn't bring in us-or-them clicks. Besides, everyone of those grunting shit-throwers probably is an angel backstage in the greenroom.

My friend searched for Climate Change on Google and the top result was a Bloomberg ad. His ad spending is insane.

World is gonna be real interesting once the likes of Putin and Xi are gone. Tentacles everywhere.
I think that once they are gone, the political apparatuses of Russia and China would fall into crisis, seeing that they are very egotistical and would probably try to cling onto power as much as possible and have no one with nearly as much clout as them in line to succeed them.

The CCP is probably still robust enough to get a moderate into power after some infighting. Putin is United Russia, though, so hopefully, United Russia collapses and we'll be seeing the beginning of a revival of democracy in Russia.

As for the rest of the world... who knows? How would Africa do in a post-Xi world? Probably continue growing. How would Venezuela and Syria do in a post-Putin world? Probably not as well.

Remember when people were worried NK was going to do something stupid when in reality the biggest cause of global conflict is actually Russia, China, and the US.

RMoney was right.

They did promise to do something big after new years, unless cheeto starts to remove sanctions. An ICBM nuke test would be a pretty rough start to 2020.

My town's community Facebook page is generally heavily moderated but given it's thanksgiving I don't think they are paying attention and someone posted a picture of Warren wearing a headdress and the caption "happy thanksgiving". It's going about how you'd expect.

I'm thankful this hasn't happened here on ERA yet!

Rather tame. Theres a community facebook page for a town about 20 minutes out from Nashville, TN. A screenshot of Warren talking about her Vet care plan calling her a cruel and stupid B. If she has such a great vet care plan why isnt she doing anything about it while she is in Congress. Also making rounds was how a republican city administrator was working with the major of Nashville, which is liberal. I recognized the city admin from when I used to manage that country club. Funnily enough was members at the same club accusing of him being brainwashed by socialists. Keep in mind the democrat mayor is much more of a Blue Collar/Corporate variety.

Thanksgiving is going well here. Visiting my girlfriend's family for the first time. It's a 50 person affair for a bunch of TV and advertising executives in a mansion in Miami. It's literally a party for the 1%. There's waiters and waitresses, floral arrangements, a chef, rich people appetizers, caviar, a bar with top shelf liquor and three bartenders, and rented tables, chairs, and silverware. It's something I've never experienced before.

The only Trumpers here are the gay couple hosting it, and they're genuinely generous and kind people, so it's an oddly unawkward affair.

I'm making potatoes THREE WAYS! To a communist everyone bring a dish dinner.

I'm doing scalloped gratin, creamy mashed and duck fat and jalapeño roasted.

Kind people wouldn't vote for Trump.

I'm pretty sure they're no longer Trump voters for 2020, but they definitely were for 2016. Now they're just regular ass Fox News watching gay Republicans.

I bet you anything they'll vote for trump in 2020, but I guess we'll see. However, it's meaningless if you can be nice to people you know, and vote to screw over people you don't. That's not the actions of "genuinely kind and generous" people.

Good kind people don't support Trump.

I am the only left leaning person in the family, so I preempt any political talk over the holidays by breaking out the Rock Band. Can't talk politics if you're busy belting out AC/DC.

Even when he seems happy he is sitting there in his defensive crossed arms stance. Always struck me as him conscious that he may be shown up by anybody at any point.

It's his power stance.

Every time I see this posture from him, the physics of it just don't seem to work. How is he not constantly going up on his toes or stumbling forward? Does he wear a corset, and that's what is keeping him stable? Might explain why he somehow looks "bigger" when playing golf in a polo, and why his suits always look too big on him.
