Are you shocked that black folks don't want to bargain "deeply racist" down to "somewhat racist" with you when you make asinine posts questioning which adverb we should put in front of the word "racist" for a guy whose policies alienated and potentially harmed the black residents of his town?

Umm it's Pete who is going to be everyone's target tonight.
They'll never vote to convict, they're stuck on the sinking ship until electoral results tell them otherwise.
Yes, their debate pregame starts 2 hours prior too... None of their top hosts get their regular blocks.
I think that could potentially backfire. Giving Republican senators the means to anonymously not convict the president is far easier on them than publicly supporting his crimes. No attack ads against them if their vote is hidden.
Literally the timing could almost not be worse.
Maddow isn't going to have her normal 9pm block on the most monumental day yet of an already monumental impeachment investigation.
hopefully everyone will spend the entire night tag teaming each other just to dunk on Pete.

And then: "Ambassador Sondland, you are here today to be smeared."
Seems pretty clear that Nunes wrote his opening statement before the details of Sondland's testimony broke and he didn't get a chance to update it.

in the long long ago of 2016, a lot of folks got Big Mad that there weren't Infinite Debates scheduled weekly and so now we have this bullshit.
I mean, you gotta hand it to Nunes. He promised a smearing, and he delivered it.
These witnesses really need to keep pushing the narrative that the White House is obstructing justice by preventing them from accessing their notes and evidence.
