Beat me to it. That is one smug look.

Sen. Kennedy: "the fact there was, the fact that there may be a quid pro quo is meaningless. Now, If you want to talk about an illegal quid pro quo, that's relevant"

Yes, their debate pregame starts 2 hours prior too... None of their top hosts get their regular blocks.
I think that could potentially backfire. Giving Republican senators the means to anonymously not convict the president is far easier on them than publicly supporting his crimes. No attack ads against them if their vote is hidden. My GF brought up this idea the other day and it sounds brilliant, but I don't know if it's feasible.
Can the Senate pass a rule forcing an anonymous vote on impeachment/removal from office via a simple majority? If so, it might be feasible to get a couple Republican senators to get that passed.
If the vote is anonymous, I'm pretty confident there would be enough votes to remove Trump from office.
Might just be me imagining things, but totally looks like Gym Jordan mutters "God Dammit" right before the clip ends.

Nunes opened by telling Sondland: "You are here today to be smeared."
But it wasn't Democrats who smeared him—GOP counsel Steve Castor attacked him as a "trifecta of unreliability" & Nunes seems to be complaining that Sondland is testifying at all. https://www.wsj.com/articles/gordon...574245802?mod=hp_lead_pos1&mod=article_inline …
Literally the timing could almost not be worse.
What is there even left to ask in the Dem debate that hasn't been asked already? Or is it just going to regurgitate previous debate questions on healthcare, etc, with the same answers.
Can someone give me a summary of what happened with Sondland so far?
They can ask Pete about his rare achievement of actually having negative black supportWhat is there even left to ask in the Dem debate that hasn't been asked already? Or is it just going to regurgitate previous debate questions on healthcare, etc, with the same answers.

Taking this if you don't mind
