That's false. They got Russian s300 anti air defenses, which are good for everything but stealth craft. It's not "worthless" by any means.
On BBC they mentioned Iran said Israel will only be targeted if they get involved.

At this point people would vote for anyone or anything, even if a pet rock looks like Trump.
It seems like a 'hail mary' play. If U.S. soldiers are killed, Americans won't care who started it. They'll just back him. I'm sure that is his hope anyway.

I spoke to multiple people over Christmas break who were talking about how excited they were to "finally" ship out for their first deployment overseas in the coming months. I asked if they didn't think it's terrifying and they said "things have really calmed down over there." I can't stop thinking about them now.

If he paints the Iranians as the bad guys, then he becomes the leader America turns to during war. In America, tricking the public into thinking the middle-easterners picked a fight isn't so yeah, there's a very strong possibility that Trump will get the wartime president bump.

Won't survive long enough to shoot down US aircraft. They will be the first targets if the US chooses to go into Iran.
May just be a defense precaution on their part. Jets sitting on the runway in case of a strike on bases are sitting ducks. Getting them in the air removes that threat.
