If you like epic boss fights, hand holding at a minimum, upgrading your character with lots of weapons and abilities that open up new areas, then you'll love this game. The story is also top notch. It reminds me most of the original Metroid with the refindments of Super Metroid mixed in. Highly recommend this game. Oh, and the music can be amazing as well. The dev is also a boss and pretty much made this game to help care for his special needs child.

I picked up Lumines for nostalgia's sake. The load times are strangely long and it's kind of annoying. Also, I've remembered that the problem with Lumines is that unlocking the skins is a slog and you have to start from the beginning every time. The mechanics are not difficult, but I find that I eventually make mistakes because I have played for so long I start getting bored and wishing the game would end. If I could start fresh where I left off, or if they gave you checkpoints every five skins or something I wouldn't have this problem.

I have Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate and its structurally obtuse as hell but once you get into it it's amazing. I have over 100 hours and still have lots to do. It's really fun and the online community is solid. Love it.

I realize your budget may be limited, but I just wanted to say that if you enjoy such games, from a "the hours you will get out of this game" angle, Diablo 3 is more than worth the full price.
I could also suggest you switch region since in NA I think the sale is still on for Diablo, but if you do that you wouldn't be able to use your EU gold coins, so this won't work for you.

DLC in general does go on sale (Rocket League goes on sale quite often), but they're never listed on the sale page and I don't believe the ones you mentioned ever went on sale. I bought Mario vs. Rabbids and I've been watching the DLC like a hawk... the game goes on sale, the deluxe edition goes on sale, but never the DLC by itself.

And personally, I'm waiting for the Xenoverse 2 DLC to have some kind of sale... I mean, I want to support them but I already bought all the DLC on PS4 and I'm not going to do it again for full price.

You can now search by a DLC filter. You can add the sale filter as well to see what is all out there

I've never seen any of their DLC go on sale on any platform. The closest has been Pikmin 3 or MK8 packs being on My Nintendo for some gold points.

It's fine, it suffers slightly in visuals, loading, and framerate when compared to other consoles like PS4, but if you want it on Switch it is all good.

I will never not recommend DOOM. It's just so oddly sick (in a great way) to play a game like that on a portable, IMO.

I own Rocket League on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch, and have played it a lot on all platforms.

The Switch is, without any reservations whatsoever, my favorite by far. I've played it the most on Switch because I love playing it on the platform. The ability to go portable whenever I want to and to do split screen multiplayer on the go, and play with friends on any other platform (except PS4) are more important to me than 4K graphics.

My wi-fi is fine, so I always have a ping of well under 100ms, and rarely notice any lag.

I found that most of the enemies in Axiom Verge were kind of obnoxious and unfair, and some were impossible to kill even in the best circumstances without getting hurt at all. I did enjoy it overall, but if you haven't played Steamworld Dig 2 yet that should be your priority. It's one of my favorite metroidvanias (and games in general) in years.

It's cool. NOE seems to be way more generous than NOA when it comes to putting their games on sale and even some DLC, whereas NOA considers the season pass price to be the only sale necessary for everybody around here.

US and EU are more or less getting the same deals from what I've seen.

The biggest difference is that Nintendo tends to not have 1st party games on sale @ the same time in those regions. I'm not sure it's been that way for a while or due to the Switch being region free, but if a game is on sale in one region you should wait because it will more often than not be on sale across the pond in a few weeks.

Mario+Rabbids at $20 is a must buy for anyone who doesn't already have it. That's a fantastic game at $60, at $20, its incredible. Please buy it
