US box arts that are actually GOOD?

We all know for the most part, here in the US we get shafted with wack ass box art..while our EU/PAL regions get some bangers. But then SOMETIMES, some pretty good ones are made. Post up the ones you like!

I really don't like the FFVIIR cover, and it kind of sucks that we got it in Europe too :(

Having said that, I actually prefer the NA BotW cover to the one we got, and I've always really liked that Kingdom Hearts cover, despite having never played the game.

Do you like Epyx's neon '80s box art?

If you were a computer gamer in the West in the '80s, you're probably familiar with Epyx and their iconic box art. I love a lot of it but I'm also curious what people that didn't grow up with this stuff think of it.

The fact for astral chain ,NOA used the logo to hide the stupid "Lady faces her butt to the camera in an awkward way" trope makes it eons better than the Japanese cover

I never did get around to playing this one. Sadly I don't have a PSP anymore. I do have a PS2, so I went and checked the price of the PS1 release, and lol it's like $100.

Yep. I think one thing that helps it is the lack of garish console branding. A lot of the covers in this thread might have a neat piece of artwork, but it's undermined by the large or brightly colored console logo.

The Turtles in Time boxart also went hard.

Really, the TMNT have almost always had excellent boxart. The OG NES game art is iconic (to me).
