Most mega movies

I've never seen a single of the popular super hero movies of the last 10ish years. So guardians, mcu, or whatever they are, just never seen any. No iron man etc. The last super hero movie I saw was one of the Batman's where he crawls out of that giant pit in the desert. I'd actually like to watch some but I can't keep track what universe is what, and where to start or end and how deep to go on each superhero. I've never followed super hero stuff and I'd like to watch the best ones in a way that makes sense story wise but I don't want to watch like 40 movies.

Haven't seen any Fast & Furious movies

I haven't watched any Star Wars since I saw ep. 3, so all of those movies.
MCU in its entirety apart from maybe 30 minutes of Iron Man.
Most of DC comic films etc. (did see Suicide Squad and it was entertainingly bad)
The Hobbit films

Harry Potter is a total cultural blindspot for me, I've never read any of the books or watched any of the movies. With JK Rowling being JK Rowling I'm not really in a rush to change that either.

I still haven't seen any Godfather movies, Back to the Future, or any slasher film that's part of a series. And I watch a decent amount of movies per year.

The most are old movies of 3 hours or more.
Lawrence of Arabia, Gone With the Wind, Doctor Zhivago, Ben-Hur, The Ten Commandments, etc.

Avatar is mine too.
It didn't really interest me, but after it'd been out a while and I learned the macguffin was referred to as "Unobtanium" it sounded so silly to me and I couldn't shake the thought that it was a placeholder name that they never got around to actually changing to a "real" name. It broke my suspension of disbelief and I knew I'd never be able to give the film a fair shake, so there didn't seem to be much point in watching it.

Way too many to count, if one of these popular movies came out before like 1995, there's a big chance that I haven't seen it. Trying to fix this though, slowly.

All of them. I find movies kind of boring to be honest, though I do like horror.

Anything horror. The Exorcist, Nightmare on Elm's Street, Friday the 13th. I mean I don't even need to list them, I just never watch any horror movie lol

I usually can't do gore as well but I'll open an exception from time to time for the eventual Tarantino movie or something like that.

I haven't seen a lot of older films, like pre-70's such as Dr. Zhivago. Also, I haven't seen a ton of foreign films.

I watch alot of movies, but haven't seen 99% of the Blockbusters from the last 15 years or so. The only exception being Dark Knight and the new Mad Max.
The two were good, but I mostly like older stuff.

Most of the MCU. Of those only have watched Black Panther and Captain Marvel. Same with DCEU; only one I have watched is the first Wonder Woman.

I haven't watched any of the Avengers films or the majority of MCU for that matter. I'm familiar with the storylines due to the comics, but the movies do nothing for me.

I've seen most of the older stuff mentioned in this thread. My favorite era of film is the 1930's to the 1970's.

But I avoid modern blockbusters like the plague.
Haven't seen any of the Disney Star Wars.
Only seen the first Fast and the Furious.
I've somehow seen 2 Twilight movies. :/
I've seen 1 Transformers movie.
Never seen Avatar.
Haven't seen most Pixar movies.
Never seen a live action Disney adaptation.
No Frozen.
None of Snyder DC Universe.
Only watched the first John Wick.

The Godfather 1& 2.

Gangster/ mob movies just have zero interest to me, even if in this case those are said to be among the best films ever made.

All the Harry Potter movies. They don't look very appealing to me but they get referenced so much that I feel I should watch them eventually.

I haven't seen most superhero movies either. I remember everyone hyping The Avengers and I saw it in theatre wondering what the hell was so great about it. My wife and I started watching Black Panther on Netflix since that was hyped to hell and we didn't make it far into the movie before stopping.

I saw the first Avengers movie, then both of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies but since I have not seen anything Marvel-related. I might go back through at some point but I have a big super hero burnout right now. The Boys is the only super content that has grabbed me in a while and it took a lot of convincing.

Terminator 1
James Bond Series
Fast & Furious Series
Back to the Future Series
Transformers Series (except first one)
Also Citizen Kane and Gone with the Wind, but don't know if you can consider them ultra popular these days or not. At least Gone with the Wind was so popular in its time.

I don't have the time to sit and watch a single thing for over an hour anymore. I started watching fewer movies about 5-10 years ago. Now I basically don't watch any. I think the last two I saw were Get Out (amazing) and The Last Jedi. Still haven't made the time to watch Rise of Skywalker.

Example: the only Marvel movies I've seen are Iron Man 1 & 2, Avengers 1, and Avengers: Age of Raymond Reddington.

And honestly, I'm OK with this. Between gaming, the few TV shows I still watch, and a bit of anime here and there, I'm plenty entertained.

I tend to have missed out on a lot of the really popular kids' movies for my generation. I did not see:

Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (1971)
The Sandlot
Bambi
The Witches
Matilda
Mary Poppins
Space Jam
Willow

It's always weird because whenever this comes up in conversations somebody will say something like "You've never seen Willy Wonka?! You've gotta watch it, it's a classic!" I mean okay, but I'm well over 30 years old now.....if I watched this movie I probably wouldn't hate it, but there's basically no chance that I'm going to love it as much as you ever did. The time for me to fall in love with these films has long since passed.

Time on planet helps. It's understandable that younger people haven't seen all the popular movies yet, but as you get older you find the time to eventually see everything you should see.
