They probably have way more stock allocation than the X.
Seems that way across all shops. The series x sold out in five minutes on amazon.
For sure, but based on some numbers from stores, they're shipping the X at a 5 to 1 rate, demand is lower but so is the stock. Is it? People trying to pre-order a console on minute-one are the hardcore.
Oh gosh where did you read that? That's annoyingSo, despite fully intending to go the Xbox all access route through Smyths, now I have a Series X order with amazon I might not bother and just pay for the console.
I just feel that as soon as they come available with Smyths (whenever that is) they are going to be gone....or even worse like happened to some people with GAME, I could set up all of the credit check stuff, get the offer and the have it fail on me when actually buying the console which means I have to potentially be contacting companies to find out what has happened. Not sure if I can bothered with all that.
Happened to someone in this thread. Everything set up with the credit company and then GAME shut down their website.

I actually thought it would be the other way around. Microsoft going in hard with the all digital edition.

Me too, but I guess I'll be emailing Klarna later to cancel the DD as game shit the bed.
It's not that desirable of an item. People who pre-order consoles are enthusiasts, so they'll gravitate towards the Series X instead. Even after launch I can't see the Series S being all that popular.
Don't think there will be any pre warning regarding all access pre orders going back live.
Yeah, that's true. Casuals will be the real test for series s.Launch pre-orders are all about the enthusiasts, so no surprise X sold out instantly. I think S stock will be more important Black Friday - Xmas for casual audience and in general going forward.
PS5 was 25 digital to 75 physical right? Yeah this is completely different it seems.Yeah it seems to be the opposite so the PS5 where they had way less digital.
Will be interested to see if we get a rough split from retailers later on.
Agreed.
That tweet doesn't bode well for Series X All Access orders either.
Somebody on that tweet time line is claiming the AA is a separate thing, with it's own dedicated stock...
Yea, but we don't know if that's just a different market allocation strategy. Maybe MS expects that right now, people won't be going to stores - and even if they are, it'll only be the really hardcore. Do we think that OVERALL stock of Xboxen are down too? Or is that just the way that physical allocations are getting done? We just don't know. For sure, but based on some numbers from stores, they're shipping the X at a 5 to 1 rate, demand is lower but so is the stock.
Parity ftw.
From that tweet I took it as they are separate so in theory whatever they had for all access still remains full. I'm assuming MS would be allocating thousands of all access consoles, well I'm hoping anyway.
Only another 7 or so hours until XSX on AA is available then /sSmyths are now selling the series s non all access model. The series x is showing as out of stock
All access still appears not to be working

I'm not getting the option to do AA.

Still says: "Apologies, there are no Xbox Consoles currently available for Home Delivery."
Absolutely horrendous from Smyths - sales wise very strong for the X I guess.
Potentially bringing one sku online at a time? Series S first, then Series X, then Series S/X AA?As of now, I've personally seen no-one say they've nabbed an X through them
So weird
