Doesn't make it any less impressive.
This kind of performance isn't a given....I know we have reached the stage were people love to pretend that everything Switch related is a no brainier success story....but the - Switch for 199 including Splatoon 1.5 or bust and - how the hell are they charging 60 bucks for MK8D - posts aren't that old.
That includes games and items that are sold digital only. Including stuff like DLC, Sims expansion packs and PC games from the Origin store.
The digital split of store retail software is most likely much lower.
Aah, that makes sense. The digital share of Jedi Fallen Order is probably going to be on the lower side for EA, because there aren't any mtx.
Do you guys know uf the new tracker GDS will share numbers? At least Gfj was sharing the yearly top 10 and we had sporadic numbers for big releases.
mario kart 8 is a beast. and people wonder why there's no mario kart 9 still...
not very surprising, specially for DS, its sale fell off massively after the first two or three weeks (not only in UK, but in the rest of europe as well)
Cool to see CTR and Star Wars up there, considering they're the only ones, outside of the big 3 of CoD, FIFA, and Pokémon, that released in the later half of the year.

Gtav continuing to sell and stick to the top 10 is the most impressive to me. It's coming up to seven years old now!
really happy for crash doing so well but yeah mario kart 8, really sucks we aren't getting another mario kart until nintendo puts out another system
I'm not saying it isn't impressive, I'm just saying it isn't a shock or insane to see it selling that well. Like GTA V it just seems to be a must have game.
Well and also X360 in UK. Just like in US in the end it passed Wii in hw sales.
Well here in Finland you would have to replace FIFA with NHL lol.

Football is by far the most popular sport in the world especially in Europe, OF COURSE millions of people are buying FIFA every year in France, Spain, UK, Benelux, Italy, Germany and pretty much all the other countries in the region, there is nothing wrong at all.
And the same goes to NA, instead of FIFA, you will find your usual Madden or NBA title at the top with COD.
Yeah but most of those other countries are at least open to other ideas and have some variance at times. Anime games and smaller Nintendo games actually do ok in places like France, here they are a non factor. The UK best seller list basically never changes. It's FIFA, COD, GTA, or the mainstream doesn't care.
I've never seen the previous years sports game be a top 10 seller of the year in any country. Idk how that's even possible lol it becomes obsolete as soon as the new one comes out.
The Division 2 is slightly surprising though. Happy that did pretty good as I heard it was struggling globally

Note that the UK has accelerated towards digital more quickly than most other countries so digital shares will be high - for PS4/XBO games at least. That would account for at least some of FIFA's decline.
