How can we judge the production values when they haven't actually shown any gameplay yet

The screenshots look plenty AAA to me, but they could be bullshots

Engines today are so advanced that you can throw a lot of vegetation on screen or effects and make it look great. A Plague Tale: Innocence is a "AA" that looks amazing. It's hard to judge a budget on how a game looks nowadays.

I wonder if this could signal their own event and them skipping E3?

Can be another reason like teasing some of their lineup prior to E3. May for PS meeting, if there even is one sounds late to me.
Ya I just feel like PlayStation has to reveal there cards before e3 or they'll be way more behind then they allready are. Xbox is going to blow the lid off at E3 so PlayStation needs to do something before that. I think the delay of TLOU2 really fucked up there timing of the PS5 reveal because they probably wanted that out before the big reveal.

I have a feeling that Ubisoft wanted to release watch dogs legion earlier than october-december, but they didnt want to release it near cyberpunk 2077.

this of course means that either the next AC is not this year, or one of the 3 already announced titles have been pushed to early 2021
No, they push all development for all their games

I can't see Ubi releasing a new Watch Dogs and new AssCreed in the same quarter. Those games will cannibalize each other's sales by definition.

Launching 4 Ubisoft open world games between October and March sounds like a truly terrible idea. Ubisoft has really samey games and they could kill off Far Cry or Watch Dogs if the other games are a lot better. I would expect Gods and Monsters to be late 2021 to avoid this awful scheduling.

Mario + Rabbids 2 isn't AAA then. Or Liam Robertson is right and something's up with that game.

Ubigods are about to grace us with some bangers!

Gods and Monsters looks like one of the most refreshing games in a while. Amazing art direction, Zelda-esque gameplay (sounds like it'll also actually have dungeons, which already makes it more interesting than BotW in my eyes), and mythology. Perfect recipe. The franchise has so much potential if they decide to make each entry a new mythology/setting.

So I'm guessing Assassin's Creed, Gods & Monsters, and Rainbow Six Quarantine will be the three for Fall 2020. Then Watch Dogs and Roller Champions in the Spring

Sounds like skull and bones will be internally cancelled. This game has been in development for a while lol. Sounds like they're having troubles..

This isn't going to happen. It would be bad business for Ubisoft to compete that heavily with itself. I'd bet two of those five end up delayed into the summer of 2021 - holiday 2021.

It's AC and Far Cry 6. It has to be.

Far Cry 6 and Gods and Monsters will be the two 2021 titles.

There's no way they let AC slip past the holidays when new consoles are coming.

Zero chance these games launch in this time period. Far Cry, Assassin's Creed, Watch Dogs, and Gods and Monsters would cannibalize each other. This is either lying to investors or delusion.

I don't see how they would cannibalize each other. At most maybe Gods and Monster with AC as both will probably be RPGs? Otherwise I don't see the issue.

Would be amazing so it's not happening.

If FC6 is just Far Cry 3-6, they shouldn't even bother. The franchise needs a radical shake-up alongside hiring a better writing staff.

FC5 sales disagree with that. It's probably better for Ubisoft to stick with that in a business sense.

It's worth noting that it was also said that those 5 titles would be IN ADDITION to titles like Roller Champions, etc
