My wife is an environmental engineer, and often has to haul a lot of equipment, sometimes off-road. We have an electric crossover, but could easily have gotten an SUV if that wasn't an option.

The continued price increases on fuel are going to do more to make gas guzzling ice vehicles less appealing then any limited stunt like this would, plus having to buy new tires early isn't any help to the environment

Isn't time SUVs get banned? They are by far the worst method of transport for harmful pollution yet continue to sell more and more. For people in public office to talk about greener cities yet they seem to have no issues with more and more SUVs on the roads is ridiculous.
