Almost 2 years ago we had a thread where users would share their Twitch profiles. I'd like to try that again, but before we get ahead of ourselves, a couple ground rules.
  1. No self promoting. You post your url, your done. Come back and follow others that interest you or chat. Do not spam this thread when you go live. You may run the risk of being banned and getting this thread closed as it goes against the ToS
  2. Don't be rude, treat everyone with respect. Some people just started, some have been at it for years. This is a place to make friends, not enemies.
With all that said and done, here's a format that should be followed, but doesn't necessarily have to be.

Twitch channel:
Stream times: (timezone as well)
What you tend to stream:

This doesn't just have to be a thread where we dump and run, we can all chat about anything related to the subject.

If you have any questions or issues related to streaming, or starting out ask away. There are plenty of people who have the knowledge.

Have fun!

Remember: No self promoting

How do I adjust the lag for streaming in OBS? I'm getting about 5-9 seconds of lag between what I'm saying and what's being seen.

I thought there was a way to do it on OBS. Hmm I'll have to look more into it, as it's rough to be ahead that much.
You can reduce it a bit, but not much. If you want instant chat, you pretty much have to stream on Mixer.

Edit - might as well put mine in, even though I'm in the 'need to get back on a schedule' phase of streaming. twitch.tv/antimacro (or youtube.com/antimacro)

I mostly stream from 8pm - 2am Mountain time, FPS like Call of Duty, or whatever game has just come out of embargo.

Twitch Channel:

Stream Time: 9-11 PM ET/6-8 PM PT (can change when work dictates it)
Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday

I'm a variety streamer mostly for consoles and PC games that are less intensive and do some retro games, terrible games, new releases, games that get big updates, and some games that are on sale that I want to show off. I'm mostly a low key streamer (little to no yelling) that enjoys sharing good or otherwise interesting games with people.

No set schedule but usually at nights. 9 or 10 PST to like 11 or 12 during weekdays. Later for weekends.

Mostly PC games. Warcraft 3 Reforged campaign currently. I would probably be streaming smaller or niche games in the future.

Unfortunately I can't really answer that as I'm not sure and I don't want to give out the wrong answer you know? I'd ask an admin or mod.

Side note: I submitted an emote and it took nearly two weeks for approval. For those of you who have been doing this for a long time, is this normal? I'm a Twitch Affiliate and not a Partner if that helps.

Currently don't have a set consistent schedule due to new job and moving out soon.
I tend to play RPG's, anime games and overall just stuff im into...Guess im what they call a variety streamer?
I'm mostly in to streaming because chatting with others about games and shooting the shit is incredibly fun. If anyone does stop by, don't hesitate to start a conversation.

That's very normal for affiliates yes. For my friend it took 17 days for the first one (though this was after Christmas when it's very busy) and the second one took a week.

What you tend to stream: Mainly Mario Maker 2. I play viewer levels and provide thorough feedback and suggestions on how makers can improve. I sometimes play other games as well. May start streaming VR stuff in the near future.

Twitch Channel: TCGPrototype

Stream Times: seems to be daily lately, something like 2-7PM EST

I'm part of a group of folks (5 of us) who run a variety channel.

Twitch Channel: Shameless Mayhem
Stream Times: Sundays @ 1pm HST (Hawaii Standard Time)
Occasional Thursdays @ 6pm HST (as scheduling and manpower permits)
Fridays @ ~11pm HST
Saturdays @ 2pm HST

We have a set schedule of programming, Sundays are VR painting and painting instruction sessions. Thursdays when we can manage it are board and card game related. Friday late nights are VR variety gaming sessions. Saturday afternoons feature one or two games of Aristeia!, an arena-based board game from Corvus Belli.

This has been my experience as well. I don't have a second one yet, but the first one took roughly two and a half weeks to get approved

I love this idea! Cannot wait to have some new Era friends in rotation on my feed.

Sorry if this question isn't appropriate for the thread, but does anyone stream MMOs/GaaS games or plan on streaming PSO2?

I always find this genre the most calming to watch for some reason. It's like chilling with a friend; most streams are, but that goes double for games like that.

Ok, let's do this.

Twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/r27live

Stream times: 11:00 - 13:00, 15:00 - 18:00 (CET)

What you tend to stream: (mostly in italian) usually single player games, but I also like MMORPGs. Currently streaming: Luigi's Mansion 3, just done with DBZ Kakarot

I see you! Wish I could speak Italian though. Better start learning hahah!

Cool, found some really interesting channels last time this thread went up.

Twitch Channel: https://www.twitch.tv/valkerionseven

Stream times: Random, but usually Weekdays: 7pm - 10pm, Weekends: 12 pm - whenever. (JST)

What I stream: Almost everything. Classic Survival Horror, arcade racer, fighting, rpg, gundam model making, and random unboxing stuff. Sometimes Japanese festivals and other random IRL things.

Stream times: (timezone as well): 6PM Irish Summer Time (GMT+1), Mon & Thu

What you tend to stream: At the moment, Knockout City, Apex Legends and Mortal Kombat 11, plus weekly story game streams and "Sean Gives Back" on Fridays.. I did a charity stream in March where I hit a ton of donation goals, so I am working through the streams I owe for that every Friday for the time being. At the moment, what I have left is: two horror streams, three Warzone streams, a Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links stream, and playthroughs of Chrono Trigger and the PS4 JoJo game (I've never seen a second of the show).

What we stream: Variety! Usually Nintendo, indies and PS4 games such as Animal Crossing, Good Job!, Exit The Gungeon, Wargroove, Kentucky Route Zero, Darkest Dungeon, The Last of Us, Fire Emblem, Dark Souls/FromSoftware games and so on. We usually stream with 2 of us, so we feature couch co-op games a lot as well.

Recently I've been trying to keep an eye on the 'business' side of gaming and be more mindful of upcoming new releases which people are going to be searching for and capitalise on them.

Q: Anyone got any recommendations on audio mixers that use mainly faders? I've seen the Helicon GoXLR Mini (which is £140 but only 1 mic) and the Rodecaster Pro (which is multiple mics but £400-ish!), hoping there's something in between that would suit us and represent a good upgrade on our Behringer U404 interface.

Randomly.

What I tend to stream:
I streamed Animal Crossing GC for 24/7 for 3 months in the lead up to New Horizons, but that was unusual. Right now I'm playing Drakengard with a ton of cheats and a couple of friends who are very familiar with the series. Next I'll probably stream some DOOM Eternal? Maybe some game dev? I've got a good mic and a good streaming setup, so you can probably expect good, sonically pleasant times.
