I mean... he even brags about being in the Young Republican committee to Will.

tbh I think the more interesting question about Hank is whether he would have voted for Beto or Cruz.

On paper he probably would agree with Cruz's politics more but more than anything he hates big city phonies who flaunt their class and wealth, so I could see him going for the more authentically Texan Beto (and having a moment in the polling booth when he realizes this is the first time he's ever voted Democratic, having written in George Bush in 2016).

Then Biden in 2020, completing the transformation.
Hank doesn't like smarmy scumbags. So he wouldn't vote for Cruz

Al Bundy would vote republican, absolute no-brainer.

Homer would unless Lisa Intervened. Could see Hank Hill and Peter Griffin too.

Superman is an immigrant and a journalist who has dedicated his life to helping those less fortunate than him - he ain't voting Republican.
Farming family from rural Illinois. White. Boy Scout personality. Believes in old fashioned values.

Republican.
Green Arrow is absolutely not voting for a Republican ever.

(And on the Avengers side of the street, Captain America is a New Deal Democrat.)
I mean Oliver Queen is generally a billionaire - feels unlikely he's a democrat.

Quark is a total free market, capitalist arsehole but at least he is willing to become a better person and stand up for something, even if it may hinder some of his personal beliefs.

Moira is defiantly a Republican, while David is a Democrat. The other three I can see going either way.
schitts-creek-halloween-costumes-1567784754.png

Tywla is a crazy tiki torch-wielding capitol stormer. Don't trust her!

Johnny is a Republican more than Moira. Alexis claims to be apolitical. Twyla I'm guessing is not a Republican (or political at all) based on end of series details. Her mom though, is the Stormer.

Stevie just maybe votes R until she meets David.

Anyone else seeing the same first post at the top of every page? It's strange.

Frasier-cast-then-and-now-915090.jpg

Here's how I see it:

- Martin's an ex-cop.
- Daphne's an immigrant that came here legally (I could see an "eff you got mine" mentality but this is a stretch even for me).
- Frasier and Niles are upper class. (edit: they're liberal, I forgot)
- Roz is the only one I could see definitely not voting Repub.
- Bulldog is Bulldog.

Roz and Daphne are probably the only 2 who wouldn't be right-leaning.

The funniest thing to me is that certainly Martin and Frasier have opposite politics of the actors playing them.

Hang on though, one thing about Tony Stark. His entire 17 year character arc is all about how he slowly transforms from selfish to selfless. In the beginning he's "fuck you I got mine". By the end, his life is run by the feeling that he needs to protect others, fear that he won't be able to and guilt over the times he failed.

This guy is definitely a Republican

But I don't think this guy is

Yep, Tony at endgame is probably a democrat.

I know he's technically a weirdo alien displaced from a dead planet, but Admiral William Adama from BSG is not only obviously super pro-military, but also ended up supporting a president who made policy decisions that decided the fate of the last vestiges of humanity based on supposed religious visions. He'd definitely be a speaker at CPAC.

Didn't Peter Griffin go off on Trump in an episode?

(Probably pretty cringe I imagine)

LMAO your view is skewed.

Superman is an illegal alien who believes in helping others and giving refugees shelter, as he is one himself.

And having a Boy Scout personality would run pretty counter to Republican values.

And Smallville is in Kansas.

Come to think of it, do you know anything about Superman?

I recall in Justice League Unlimited that Oliver outright tells someone else in the JL that he was a hard core "leftie". Forget what the context was though. Nor do I know if characters change policies in different interpretations of the universe.

Edit: Took this last part out because don't want it to appear I'm defending fuggin billionaires lmao

Where's the notion coming from that all billionaires are auto Repubs? Did every top 1% come out last year in favor of Trump or something?

I doubt billionaires like gates, cuban, buffet voted for trump.

Oliver Queen is a pretty hardcore leftie. It's actually a pretty big part of his character that has defined some of his more well known comic runs. Although that doesn't mean he isn't without his blind spots (especially in regards to drug use)

Republican.

I mean Oliver Queen is generally a billionaire - feels unlikely he's a democrat.

In the comics, he loses his fortune and becomes a politically active peogressive Democrat, going so far as to run for office.

He acts as a foil to conservative Hal to shake him out of his complacency. (Pre crisis Hal I think gets swayed by Ollie and his own change of fortunes, post crisis he started being written as a hard headed ex Military type, so Republican)

Superman is definitely a liberal, despite his rural upbringing. Pro immigrant, consistently anti big business. His first appearance he going after union busters.

Wonder Woman is a tough call. She's not American and has a nuanced view on foreign affairs, but also a military background. But she also hails from essentially a communist paradise, so I say Democrat.

Flash and Hawkman are total Republicans.

Aquaman is a monarchist, so where does that fit? Also an an environmentalist.

I tend to think if Batman as Republican, but the points about being anti gun and believing in rehabilitation (outside the movies, he'd be trying to save villains from dying rather then letting them die).

Zatanna? She lives in SF for pete's sake.

Black Canary? Aligned with Ollie.

I love the Hecks from The Middle, but they're from small town Indiana. Of course Frankie and Mike vote Republican. Not sure about Trump though. At least the kids wouldn't. Even Axl... if he ever bothered to vote.

Daffy would vote Trump and get on Era and say Bugs definitely did.
