Governor race has always been more blue in Kentucky weirdly. Rest of the races were heavy red.

They don't have to, that's already how their government is set up. It only takes a simple majority to override a veto which R's have.

Despite the posts in this thread, it looks like turnout in Kentucky is way up compared to 2015? Almost 50% more votes cast for governor.
he was a bad pick for more reasons than that. Fucking milquetoast uninspiring nobody. I'll never understand that pick.

Felons can't vote right now in Kyunctky without appealing the Governor, which is a complicated and lengthy process, that will most likely get denied anyway. Bershear has promised to restore voting rights to over 300K nonviolent felons who have served their time, through executive order.
