Oh and he'll probably also try to charge royalties or some form of copyright cost for using his name.

That's another nice additional argument to convict for impeachment. Reallocate that proposed 2 billion elsewhere and make sure he gets nothing.

I'm sure the reason he wants it to cost that much is because you just know he wants it all gold-plated and gaudy looking, not because of the actual books that'll be in it.

To be fair, these libraries are not paid by taxpayers, Presidents need to fundraise.

Well, in that case, MAGA cultists will be happy to "donate", like they have been so far. So even if he's not running in 2024 he now has a good reason to keep grifting money from them. At least the rest of the people don't have live in disgust that their tax dollars were used for something like this.

Edit: He should also have to prove a third-grade reading level before he's allowed to EVER have his name on a library.
