Sad when Twitter was the only company to bring down Trump. Not DOJ, not the Senate, not Dems but twitter.

To the "let them fight" crowd, would you be happy with an outcome where Facebook and Twitter and all social media come to the conclusion they are not allowed to ban people anymore for being extremists? There is only one positive outcome in this case, and that is Facebook/Twitter easily winning.
they don't do it much anyway and their platforms are poisoned beyond repair because of it so I'm not really sure what exactly the repercussions would be of an outcome like that.
I guess there's still lawyers who aren't afraid of being disbarred over obviously frivolous lawsuits.
I severely doubt that any U.S. Judge would essentially rule that private business have to be conducted like public services

That said, I'm kinda surprised Trump is already jumping to frivolous lawsuits for attention.
Part of me wonders if he saw the ratings for the rallies and is worried.
His case is laughably bad, and also he's going up against dudes with teams of lawyers who could wipe the floor against even a pretty good case. This is just burning money for attention. Maybe if it gets to discovery they'll find some email that his people can turn into the next conspiracy fodder, but nothing that would actually win him the case.

Facebook in particular has a pretty shitty track record of banning trans people and sex workers, and does fuck all to ban extremists anyway, so I'm not completely convinced it would be a disaster.
