Don't be so sure he's talking about real protesters. He calls those "rioters". He may very well be referring to right wing "militias" when he says "peaceful protesters".
The president is allowed to have political events from the White House? I though that wasn't allowed?
Look for him to suggest violence in such a loose way that he and all his enablers will try to gaslight you and downplay his words.
The problem with gentlemen's agreements whenever someone involved isn't a gentleman.

Trump is not a chessmaster or genius or strategist. He's an egotistical moron that can't stand being away from crowds and the campaign trail and is angry that COVID is forcing him inside. Especially since he's clearly not taking it seriously and his infection is likely his own damn fault.
He honestly thinks that every time he speaks he is winning over new/undecided voters, when in reality, the opposite is clearly true, but it's a good thing he's too much of a narcissist to ever be able to come to this realization on his own.
