Troy Baker and Nolan North "The Last of Us" Playthrough - Part 1

TLOU is the game that got me back into single player games and easily my favourite SP game ever. Been waiting for this playthrough since they announced it.

I believe Nolan North hasn't seen/played any of it before either, so should be great to see his reactions considering his only experience of playing Naughty Dog games so far seems to be light-hearted Uncharted.

Don't love the overly heavy-handed emotional manipulation of the intro, but it still packs a punch every time

Did Nolan really not know what happened in the beginning of the game? Or at least the basic plot? I'm very surprised by his reaction to the death scene.

Are they teasing Nolan North is in the game too? I won't be surprised sicne both are in Uncharted games and even in GOW. They are everywhere.

Yeah, I'm a bit surprised he didn't knew that... But he only interacted with Ellie in the game (from the main cast), so he didn't need to know.

Most didn't know he was in the game and the credits rolled. His voice for David is pretty unique so there wasn't a clear giveaway for most people. He also mocapped the guy that Joel tortures to get Ellie's location during Winter as well.

I checked her wiki and it said she was born 1999 so she was 14 when the game was released. but considering the game took years to make she probably was 12 or 13 at the time.
