Finally! I can now relive the train journey I once took to work before quarantine, love me some Metropolitan line action.

Looks good for a sim game. I don't think i'll pay the full price, because i have lots of games to play until next gen. But playing it on gamepass would be cool

Weirdly, Dovetail Games, who is developing this, also makes the infamous Train Simulator.

Train Sim World 2 is now available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, supposed to run at 4k on Pro and One X now (compared to the first one). TSW2 includes two new routes and high speed train options, such as the ICE 3 and in the future the french TGV. No steam locomotives planned at this point. Scenario editor is new as well as a livery designer (video attached).

I just played like 3 hours and really like the small improvements as well as the implemention of the ICE 3 especially.

I feel like I should play one of these games as the dev isn't too far from where I live. I was going to apply to a role there once but my experience wasn't quite up to scratch.

No steam engines no buy.

Seriously, why? They are the most interesting aspect about a train simulator.

Microsoft please help us, after Flight Simulator you need to revive Train Simulator. Show the other boys how it's done. Full physics models for steam engines, baby!
