Del Toro ruined one of the most effective horror films ever with his remake of 'Don't be afraid of the dark', and I've never actually found any of this films scary, so I'm glad he's only producing this.
This film has the potential to be very unsettling AND be a great creature feature film.
That's not really creature feature is it? It's more nature vs human (although obviously exaggerated). The creature feature part, admittedly, has most of my attention; Crawl (2019) is one of my favorite films to come out this year.
Is that one shot near the endNew trailer: https://trailers.apple.com/trailers/fox_searchlight/antlers/
Some good shots of the.wendigo
Certainly seems to be. Agreed, it looks way better than I expected. Is that one shot near the end. The looks like an incredibly freaky design. That last shot too of the arm.a man's face on the front of the maw?
It was originally pushed to February 2021 but then went TBA 2021.Damn when I saw the OP was from 2019 i was hoping to see impressions on the film on page 2 of the thread.
Wild.
I'm excited for this, though.
Guessing theres no word on release?
I hope they dont declaw the story. The short story is fucking brutal, particularly the ending.
Hold off on reading itI kind of want to read it now but I don't want to blunt any impact the film might have. Hmmm. When in a pandemic you have to do what you have to do.
Hold off on reading it
If the movie does not leave you feeling angry, sad, and a tad bit empty, you know they fucked it up, then you can check out the original for reference.
