You needs to reread that post. He was talking about a majority of critics, not a majority of players.Seeing those sales numbers I don't think the disappointed fans are the majority.

The poster was talking about people who are disappointed, not all fans.Seeing those sales numbers I don't think the disappointed fans are the majority.
Assuming you have receiptsMaybe the boycott didn't work because the people who keep it insist on insulting everyone who enjoys the games. It's like that Rick and Morty meme " To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty "
The point of those games was having the Pokemon in 3D, so they are obsolete. The main problem with all of this is that we're stuck with whatever crap gamefreak gives us. If the Colosseum/Stadium series was still around then I would be fine with gamefreak making underwhelming games.
But of course, gamefreak will never allow both series to co-exist.

I don't need, I just have to see here people with an air of superiority saying that their tastes are more evolved or that people are dumb and buy anything.
Pathetic take. Let's Go were never going to replace the main games, it's a pity people like you feel threatened by the title so much that you wanted it to fail instead of giving it a chance. All I care is for the game to have outsold Let's Go by the end of the year so we can bury that side series for good.
I tweeted that I was enjoying the game and people who didn't even follow me were being rude. People are literally searching for this stuff.Imagine being personally affronted that people are playing and enjoying a game you didn't like.
Imagine.

Also that the weird notion that just because you criticise something doesn't mean you hate it or still like it in others way, in fact most of the time criticism comes from people who love the work of fiction and want to see it improve. It reviewed below XY, Sun/Moon and let's go on opencritic
To call the games challenging for adults is a stretch
Legitimate criticism doesn't matter because it sold well

Ooooh I get ya.That the textures, animations, and framerate of this game are of a budget PS2 title and I'm not exaggerating one bit.
I don't doubt most of those "disappointed fans" bought the games anyway.Seeing those sales numbers I don't think the disappointed fans are the majority.
The reviews are good. They're just relatively worse than the previous mainline entries.Five star raids, battle style "set," ranked online.
It has a "Strong" opencritic rating with 72 percent of critics recommending and a 82 on Metacritic.
Unless there is a new criteria for "good reviews" that I'm not aware of that fits the vocal minority's anger better I would say my post (which didn't say anything about past games) was correct in stating that the games got "good reviews."
That's obviously an intentional design choice. It has nothing to do with power or technical skill. A Stadium or Colosseum game in 2019 would potentially follow suit as well. But they can't even do a 3D RPG right since the size scaling is completely off in and outside of battles.
In 2019, on the Switch.
I almost died on the 4th gym even though I was slightly overleveled compared to them. The game can be tough for people just getting into Pokemon
Sword and Shield are definitely way above XY difficulty-wise. WIth XY you didn't even have to Switch Pokemon and could just spam Mega Lucario every battle.Funny because the final battle caught me off-guard with the level jump and almost wiped me.
The post in question is literally just "but my animations", there is no opinion just a bad attempt at a "gotcha".
Not a single one of them mentioned that the criticism wasnt valid.

The screen is still small, so if that was the reason they probably would.Their reasoning was some gibberish that had to do with the size of the 3DS display. A Stadium/Colosseum follow up would absolutely not follow suit, nor is there any reason to believe that.
Not a single one of them mentioned that the criticism wasnt valid.
They poke fun at the idea some people here quite often stated that the criticis(that one might or might not find valid) affected sales.
You just assumed they said it wasnt valid.
And not sure why you included Serebii, his post was clearly in reference to things that actually happened, including to him.
Like if you complain about the people criticising being thrown into a bucket with the people doing the bad stuff, maybe dont just turn around and assume everyone disagreeing with your criticism is saying it isnt valid.
I think people actually search Twitter for this stuff, I get so many replies from people who don't follow me when I talk about PokemonI tweeted that I was enjoying the game and people who didn't even follow me were being rude. People are literally searching for this stuff.
the serebii part was for the other person i quoted in the same post. When did I mention Serebii or grouped people as a single entity?
Sadly they can
The screen is still small, so if that was the reason they probably would.
A streamer I watched that was going "maybe" on playing Pokemon Sword got harassed enough in his emails that he was turned off playing it altogether.I think people actually search Twitter for this stuff, I get so many replies from people who don't follow me when I talk about Pokemon
Definitvely seen that a lot.A streamer I watched that was going "maybe" on playing Pokemon Sword got harassed enough in his emails that he was turned off playing it altogether.
The frame rate is solid. Digital Foundry have said that, apart from two blips when it goes through to encounters or when the camera splits in battle. That the textures, animations, and framerate of this game are of a budget PS2 title and I'm not exaggerating one bit.
Why should they? It's a good gameAre the people that cared about all the controversy too few in number to make a dent or are they just too weak to skip these games? I guess we will never know.
#ThankYouConsumers
Woof. I'm enjoying my time with it but the game is def not a looker. Idk why the performance Is so bad, given how it looks.Oh, you got me wrong, I'm being honest here. Did you see the wild area? I enjoyed the game, but trying to shut down criticism with sales is not a good excuse.
Edit:
That's actually disgustingDefinitvely seen that a lot.
Been browsing some low viewcount Twitch streams(like sub 50 viewers) where random people jump in to tell the streamer they are a shill for playing a shitty game.
Are you basing this on actually having played the game? I own the game and the framerate is solid. That the textures, animations, and framerate of this game are of a budget PS2 title and I'm not exaggerating one bit.
Sword and Shield are definitely way above XY difficulty-wise. WIth XY you didn't even have to Switch Pokemon and could just spam Mega Lucario every battle.
You should probably be saying this to yourself.
There are terrible people in the Pokemon community.Definitvely seen that a lot.

Basically, if you're playing online in the Wild Area, it'll sometimes stutter. This is due to latency due to it bringing people in, in real time, into the Wild Area. However people are strangely misconstrueing it as frame rate issuesAre you basing this on actually having played the game? I own the game and the framerate is solid.
Edit:
NVM I've seen your other posts and you have played it. Weird that I haven't had framerate issues. The performance is definitely better than Gen 6 and 7 in my experience.
