I rarely see "The Missing" on any top lists anywhere... season 1 has fantastic character development/performances but the plot is somewhat predictable. Season 2... is one of the best pieces of Televsion I have ever seen (if you haven't heard of the show just go in blind).

In no real order(though Hannibal is my absolute favorite) but I put Wiseguy and Crime Story at the top to give what little attention I can to these two great but largely forgotten pieces of television. Sometimes people can forget just how good "old" television could be, Mary's on-air breakdown in Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, for instance, is so amazing and ahead of its time that it is kind of shocking*. Wiseguy is rarely as potent but it is really, really good and one of the early successful attemps at serializing stories on the small screen, and in a just world it would be a well remembered classic.

* Seriously, watch this starting at the 10:00 minute until the end and just marvel at the fact that this aired on American television in 1976.
