Steam Version? Switch Port?
As of writing, there's no news about the game arriving on Steam. The last Activision published title on Steam was released in 2019 and newer titles, such as entries from the Call of Duty series and Crash Bandicoot 4 have launched exclusively on Battle.net. Don't think of that as a no, though. Anything could happen.
A port to the Nintendo Switch has been announced! Check Threadmarks for more information.
Does the PC version support [specific feature]?
The PC version of THPS1+2 supports HDR, uncapped framerates, ultra-wide resolutions, and the DualShock 4.
Will there be post-launch support / microtransactions?
It is confirmed there will be post-launch support and no microtransactions.
However, they did say that they will consider MTX if there's a demand for more in-game cosmetics.
Will there be more Tony Hawk's Pro Skater after this?
Despite Vicarious Visions merging into Blizzard, it's still possible that the Pro Skater series will continue after 1+2's incredible sales and reception.
Tony has also expressed in various interviews that he'd love for there to be a THPS3+4 remaster.

Hey, what's good? Your friendly neighborhood OP here. This is my first time getting to put together an OT and I had a blast. Gonna be real with you all - I made something completely different before August 14th, but then seeing the demo made me really want to try and match that design. So I scrapped that version and cooked this up. Hopefully, I did it justice. I'm a sucker for these grunge brush strokes.
Big shoutsout to TheDutchSlayer for suggesting the title. I had a lot of alternative titles floating around but I feel like the OT kind of has to be something related to Superman. Say what you want about the track, but that song is pretty key to the THPS experience. Also shoutsout to Wired All Wrong, who created the Pro SkatERA playlist on Spotify. The series has always been a gateway to such incredible bands and songs, so having something like this for the community to share their own favorite tracks is dope. So if you got Spotify, add some tunes to the list!
That's all from me. Hope y'all are warmed up and ready to go because I sure am.
man seeing the side by sides like that is awesome. i swear, once again it's a case of the 'oh shit, the new one is how i remember the original looking!', so really awesome work they did! proud of VV
Still my most anticipated game for the remainder of 2020. Not even ashamed of that or even trying to say this year in games sucks, I just really want some classic-style Tony Hawk and the demo has me convinced this is the real shit.
"supporting mtx if there is a demand"?! wtf who demands mtx in a game? I bet thats going to be their excuse since its still an activision game there will be mtx after reviews are out
Great looking OT. The soundtrack additions feel so of a piece, and will prevent the old songs from getting repetitive. This is my first time seeing the character roster. Love that Aori Nishimura is in there, my girlfriend will love playing her in splitscreen.
What an amazing time we're in where this game is looking great. Still going back to the demo to chill out and slam combos. I absolutely can't wait for this to unlock.
I really want this, but I don't think I can justify paying £49.99 for the digital deluxe edition on epic, even £39.99 seems pricy in the current climate.

Yeah I'm with ya. I want the Digital Deluxe to get the Ripper skater but it's so much more expensive! I can get the standard edition on disc for AUD$54, but Digital Deluxe on PSN is AUD$85! That's quite a margin.
I've spent $30 on dumber shit though, so we'll see...
(yes, even dumber than a virtual skeleton skateboarder)
So hyped for this. The demo was amazing, can't wait. THPS 3 was my favorite but mainly because it had revert. Since this has revert I'll be playing this for ages, making sweet sweet combos. Hopefully the online community stays strong on Xbox.
And for those not aware it's unlocking early on Xbox if you switch to New Zealand, which is about 28 hours from this post.
This is the last game of my PS4 era I'm genuinely passionate about getting into Day 1 and so closes out my generation pre PS5 - Skywalker Lego Saga and Avengers I may check out in a few months
I replayed the first three games last year, and they hold up better than I expected. Definitely take very little time to finish, but more than worth playing considering how great the controls are and how well designed the levels are. Looking forward to seeing how adding the revert to these older games changes the way they play.
