Came here to post this. Glad it was the first post.
Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt is way better to me than the original
Here's a two-for-one. I prefer both the Type O Negative and Isley Brothers covers of "Summer Breeze" to the Seals and Croft original.
I seem to prefer anybody else's version instead of Elvis Presley's "I can't help falling in love with you"

Also I must be the only person who prefers the original version of Hurt. Feel like Cash missed the point of that song completely.
Yeah I can't believe he died only a little more than a year ago at 63. Big sad.

I like Black Sheep by made up band The Clash at Demonhead from Scott Pilgrim a lot more than the original by Metric.
I really like No Doubt's cover of "It's My Life". Granted, I just finished listening to the original, but maybe Talk Talk was just better as a post-rock band than a synthpop one.
Yeah, I don't get it. NIN version is one of the best ever. Cash is...ok, but the universal love it gets is a little baffling to meAlso I must be the only person who prefers the original version of Hurt. Feel like Cash missed the point of that song completely.
Came here to say this word for word! Favourite track on the albumThe Rage Against the Machine version of "Maggie's Farm" originally by Bob Dylan. Honestly, every song on the Renegades album is better than the original version but Maggie's Farm is the stand out track.
The cover of House of the Rising Sun they made for Wofenstein: The New Order
