To be clear, that was more of a shot at the many people wanting curation. Competition between stores = good, opening flood gates for competition between developers = bad.

I agree, I really don't want to get into this to defend Epic. I couldn't give a fuck about Epic. They aren't the first competitor to Steam and they won't be the last. It's just nice to have options because that makes everyone try harder. Game pass is a prime example of that.

Yeah, my point wasn't much about Epic either but more towards Sweeney. He has an obvious motive behind his tweets considering his history. No one should quickly forget his words against Microsoft when he had plans for a storefront all along.

Game pass is miles ahead of EGS, and a way more likely competitor to Steam than EGS ever was.

Also the PC Xbox app is way better than EGS too.
