THQ Nordic teases two game announcements at E3 [READ STAFF POST]

Why exactly? How damn big is THQ/Koch Media exactly and what did these games/devs do with them?
Or is this boycott list about other stuff?
Just buy it digital. I can't really see how punishing a small studio who have made a great game is helping.

Yeah let's just not talk about the fact that the higher ups of a AA publisher actively promoted a child porn website because...you want your AA games. That's not minimizing the issue at all.
Koch Media is publishing all of these games in Europe. Most companies don't have European divisions capable of handling this and have to rely on third party partners to release games here.
Koch Media is the biggest third party publisher in Europe. THQ Nordic owns them. They're pretty big.

THQ Nordic has largely been riding on the assumption that by ignoring it, the apathy of the gaming audience would allow them to get through unscathed. This involves ignoring gaming journalists who try to talk to them, giving them little fuel to continue the story from this.

Want to talk about the PTSD episodes this event has given me? Because I'm going tell you something, the reason I know that those videos are surfing around the dark web and likely have been linked in 8chan is because some sick fuck from 4chan decided to email me a video of it once back in 2013. So there's a good chance that links to those videos have swam before and still do in 8chan, and THQ leaving a link to that site for 15 hours could cause a chance that more people gain access to it.

Which is fine, people can do whatever they like.
For me, some people at THQN made a big error in judgement but they have a lot of people under them (developers) that make great games, some too good to miss and the developers (who had nothing to do with the incident) still deserve the support, at least that's how I look at it anyway.

I can't believe it's been so long since Saints Row 4. I may be wrong but did Volition release a single game this gen that wasn't Agents of Mayhem? I know they did Gat out of Hell/SR4 remaster but that was pretty tiny. Really hoping for Saints Row 5!
As for the THQN thread stuff. Nothing wrong with bringing it up in the threads to let people make an informed decision.

Thanks again for posting this, Ms.Galaxy . I recall your posts about your experience but I'm not comfortable replying to posts like that on your behalf.
GHG , I hope this makes you think a lot about how you're acting. While you're so dismissive about a discussion where child abuse is involved, there are victims of child abuse on this very forum.
Most of them(that id seen)were a handful of people bringing it up while everyone else that didnt care whined about them or concern trolled. Never this hostile.
As one of those "ignoring what THQ Nordic did" this thread by voicing my excitement about a new TimeSplitters, I'd like to elaborate a bit.
I think the 8chan AMA was horrible and not dealt with properly. I think twice before buying anything from THQ Nordic from now on.
TimeSplitters as a franchise is special in my family though. I'm an avid Nintendo gamer, my brother mainly plays on PlayStation and hates everything I like. So we are both gamers, we just never game together. The exception is TimeSplitters. We can still play TimeSplitters 2 and 3 together from time to time. The death of the franchise has hit us both, and a resurrection would mean a lot for both of us.
I'd prefer if TimeSplitters if it were to resurface did it in other circumstances but it is what it is.

Exactly this, and it's why I want moderation to consider adding what I requested in addition to the current guidelines.
My understanding of the situation is that the staff decided that this was the price of still allowing THQN-related discussion at all. It's not that hard to sift through the 8chan disccusion if you just wanna talk about the games, and Era has tools to make that sifting easier.
Again, they're just video games. Do you really lack that much willpower that you have to buy these games?
Then they are goochie with me if they don't. Simple as that. If they do then that are in my shit list.
