These games are being published by THQ Nordic. For those who may not be aware or who may have forgotten, THQ Nordic had a marketing effort where it intended to gain attention using a website that is known primarily for its support of child pornography, as well as for support of Neo-Nazism, doxxing, and other extremely damaging behaviours.
THQ Nordic's provided no response to this fiasco except for an apology claiming they did not do enough research. As the website is unlisted by Google, they had spoken to the board owner about removing "nasty stuff", and content was viewable both before and during the campaign, this claim is beyond belief. The individuals responsible are known not to be rogue PR interns, but go up to THQ Nordic's board. THQ Nordic has not dealt with the individuals responsible.
Consider that by supporting their games, you are supporting a publisher that is complicit with child pornography.
They don't need to "fix" their sentence; it's clear what they were saying. At no point did they ever claim that all employees of THQ Nordic are "pedophiles and pedophile apologists."

Ok, so I have never watched Spongebob (just a little after my time, I always thought it looked fun), but I love 3D platformers, even mid-tier ones. Would people still recommend this, or is it perhaps a bit dated and I wouldn't enjoy it not being familiar with the source material?
I'm still a little iffy on supporting THQN due to their lack of accountability over what happened, but that is something i'll reflect on as we move forward.

Im not hugely interested in the Spongebob game. I thought I'd quite enjoy reading other people's thoughts on it though as my son is a fan so I originally came in to see what the game was about as I'm not familiar with it. My original point I believe was (or at least it was intended to be) that if we have people who want to discuss the game and this is going to happen in every thread about thqn games, is it not better to either decide to not discuss them at all or to have a single thread to discuss their shitty behaviour and got sucked in from there I guess.

They dont blame you for the discussion on THQN. They blame you because you whine about thread derail while in this thread all your participated in is the THQN discussion and not the game. You're the one responsible, you and many others, for the thread derail by complaining about other people's opinion on THQN, instead of replying to people discussing the game.
