Did anyone else read this from the description of the video:

Two more games to go, one has to be Red Faction. That's the one I am waiting for, only if it has full on destruction like Guerilla had.

For those who may not be aware or who may have forgotten, THQ Nordic had a marketing effort where it intended to gain attention using a website that is known primarily for its support of child pornography, as well as for support of Neo-Nazism, doxxing, and other extremely damaging behaviours.
THQ Nordic's provided no response to this fiasco except for an apology claiming they did not do enough research. As the website is unlisted by Google, they had spoken to the board owner about removing "nasty stuff", and content was viewable both before and during the campaign, this claim is beyond belief. The individuals responsible are known not to be rogue PR interns, but go up to THQ Nordic's board. THQ Nordic has not dealt with the individuals responsible.
Consider that by supporting their games, you are supporting a publisher that is complicit with child pornography.

The issue is the rights holder for this game is and has been THQ from what I recall. So without them, this wouldn't be possible to re-release.
Not defending Nickelodeon, for the record, but outside of not allowing it to go forward (which arguably is what they should've just done), not sure what else could be realistically done. It's not as simple as canceling the contract, since THQ owns partial rights to the game.
This is a cool choice for a remaster, but there's still nothing that'd make me support this company.

It probably seems ridiculous to anyone who hasn't played it, but it's a genuinely great platformer game from the Gamecube/PS2/Xbox era.

What does being abused have to do with THQ Nordic? They did an AMA on 8chan because its similar to /v/ except the posts on there last a lot longer, they used it because the audience are known to be gatekeepers to Eurojank games.
It's a really really good collectathon. Maybe the best from the era.
