We have gotten it off since 2020, but starting last year we no longer get President's Day off so it was just a re-arrangement of the schedule.

Nope, despite getting all other federal holidays off. It's a big company so it moves very slowly. That's what I'm telling myself.

its a holiday for my company, they are celebrating it on Monday. Unfortunately I have to work some holidays, so I will be working. But, for most of my company they'll have off

No, but I work most holidays. I get 3 off per year.

It is on our holiday rotation now, just not one of the days I got this year.

I'm in MA, we get all major holidays and then can choose 2 of 3 of Indigenous People's Day (Columbus Day), Patriot's Day (Marathon Monday in Boston), and Juneteenth. I used the first two but ended up using vacation hours for most of next week anyway.

Yes. We're not government-related by any degree, but our company added it as a holiday last year

No. We are a gov agency and technically we should get it but it has to be implemented by the state's HR department and I imagine ratified into our union contracts. Everybody is asking about it, though, so it is only a matter of time.

For how progressive the company I work at is I am floored we don't have off. They did give us MLK day off this year and we now have MLK/Presidents Day off every year

Nope.

Public holidays I get are:

New Year's Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Christmas Day

But I have unlimited time off so it evens out.

Nope. Folks brought it up in meetings with corporate and we were told we have vacation time to do with what we wish. Neat.

I'm actually kinda heartened by the vote breakdown. More 'yes's than I expected.

My company doesn't but we're pretty stingy on holidays in general.

I get these 6 federal holidays off, with pay:
New Years
Memorial Day
July 4th
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Xmas

I do not get the following 5 federal holidays off:
MLK
Presidents Day (only celebrated in 38 states)
Juneteenth
Columbus Day (only celebrate in 25 states)
Veterans Day

I'm a pencil pusher at a hospital.

I work at a book bindery and we get/don't get off the same exact days. We also get Good Friday and our Birthdays off.

This is exactly what my company does as well.

It was too late to implement schedule changes this year so they gave us an additional vacation day--which I used today!

I have Juneteenth off, but not because of Juneteenth. I'm a teacher, June and July isn't part of my contracted work months.

We only close for Xmas and Easter. We 'might' get extra PTO time that week for it, but I'm not sure. They just reshuffled what holidays you get it for and what ones you don't.

Not yet, they are working on trying to implement it. Looking at how it works into the holiday budgets. Unsure if it'll make it into this year but most likely next year.

This year I am getting the day off.

Last year I did not get the day off, but was allowed to expense dinner at a black-owned restaurant.

I preferred the prior approach.

My company does this year, didn't last year.

I think we traded a free "floating" PTO day for this, which, I'm ok with.
Juneteenth is far more important to commemorate than me randomly taking a day off when I'm bored.
