You can be disabled and rich enough to get them fitted, and not want cables all over the place.
How do medical issues explain the LED sky lighting everywhere?
How are they not acknowledging this one iota anywhere on the page? Lmao
If you have medical equipment, hoists, wheelchair, wheeled reclining hospital beds and so forth, you don't want/have a lot of furniture for lights to sit on and bump into, so dimmable ceiling lights in groups are ideal. Don't think they all need to be on at once. You can group them based on the room function/layout at any given time.
I mean, maybe it was for people with very specific diseases, or for clinical testing? Maybe it was used to monitor people who are still very autonomous but needed special care or observation during the night? What about people with sleep apnea or any such similar? I mean if you look at pictures of any typical hospital ward, many have outlet placement that looks like this.
