Macklemore beat Kendrick Lamar at the Grammys in 2014. How? It's bullshit but yep that happened.

What things can't you believe but actually did indeed happen? Try not to just say the 2016 US election because that's obvious.

Germany - Brazil 7-1 at the 2014 World Cup hosted in Brazil.

Brazilians worship soccer, they have some of the best talent in the planet (including former legends) and on their home turf, they get fucking WIPED OUT by Germany.

It's not super unbelievable but I was in a field with someone and they said "I'm gonna do a flip" and then they just did a flip. I wasn't paying much attention so I missed all but like the recovery of the flip, but he landed it proper. I was kinda stunned that he did it out of nowhere.

I'm a massive football fan. I happened to be on a holiday around a bunch of Brazilians when I was watching. THE TEARS.

I remember seeing Germany up 3 goals and thinking woah, found a stream and even though I don't particularly watch football (Outside of the pub/World cup with old mates) woah.

Also the World Trade Center attack. Probably the most massive thing I ever came home to.

Super Bowl LI. As a Falcons fan, almost 4 years later, I still think "...how?"

That's one of the most believable things ever. Know what kind of world you live in.

Sonic and Mario teamed up for a game and it was about the Olympics.

Not even the weirdest game thing I can think of in a world where there's an official Nobunaga's Ambition x Pokemon crossover game, though.

Covid-19. Never have I thought this happen. In tv and movie I can relate but not the real one. Now when I see a zombie movie I'm not gonna jump in and said "it won't never happen in real life", cause ya know shit hapoen

That Disney managed to kill Star Wars even with prequel hindsight, access to infinite money and talent and no real time pressure. I'm not angry or upset, just seriously baffled by how you can make so many mistakes when you are in the perfect position to make fantastic and innovate movies, without compromise or soulless nostalgia porn, that will make billions either way. I get that movies are often a risk and that studios like to play it safe, but there was literally no reason not to do whatever it takes to make a great film. It's fucking Star Wars, the money is a given. The success of the films we got is proof of that and it's just so sad that Disney didn't use this opportunity to just make something truly great when they didn't have to account for all the bullshit of modern blockbuster filmmaking.

I'm not one of those TLJ haters or anything like that, that's actually my favorite of the three. But as part of a whole, none of the films work for me at all.

- Pretty much the entire Trump administration.
- that people defended the Trump administration
- that people continue to defend the Trump administration
- that someone crossed a state border, got a gun, shot two people, is getting worshipped as an American hero.
- Australian war against Emus

That the American people were dumb enough to elect a celebrity to the presidency.

I'm talking about Reagan.

That The Greatest Generation went to war to kill Nazis and then their children's generation helped elect Nazis to public office in droves.
