For context there is a new Batman manga coming out and to accompany it a manga about the Joker was created... where he accidently pushes Bats into a vat of chemicals and turns him into a baby. Of course the Joker being the parental type decides to take Bat baby home and raise him, thus a series about the Joker raising a baby. DC take notes.

Thanks to @Aizo and AoM for the heads up and link to the first chapter

Don't miss issue 1 where Batbaby watches Baby Shark and Bing Bunny on mute as Joker voice acts the entire thing.

I assume this will end with Joker discovering the joys of fatherhood, only for Batman to suddenly turn back to normal and then start kicking his ass

Deadpool already did it with Cable. But they were more friends than enemies.

I didn't realize Bruce powdered Terry's behind while changing his diapers
Terry was a clone of Bruce that he groomed to be his successor, even orchestrating the death of his adopted father to implant the thirst for vengeance.
That last part is supposition, but it's the only thing that makes sense given Bruce's intent.

That wasn't Bruce's doing though. That was Amanda Waller's work.

This is a fully licensed and official release, right? That means DC Comics approved this, right?

Hopefully baby bats turns out better than the Joker's other notable attempt at raising someone from the Bat family.

Is this in the comics?
Because the reveal from JLU is
WALLER altered Terry's father reproductive DNA into Bruce's (making him his son, not clone) in order to create Batman successor. Her original plan to kill the parents fails 'cause the killer couldn't do it, but gets what she wants anyway thanks to what eventually happened

I only read write up on it that was apparently mistaken as far as the way the parentage worked out genetically.
But the fact that Bruce then groomed him to be Batman as their just so happened to be a series of incredibly unlikely events falling like dominoes from his father's death that led him to be able to access the Bat suit is incredibly sus.

You think the greatest detective that ever lived, who can kill gods with enough prep time, didn't know about it and participate willingly?
It's made pretty clear in Beyond and in that very same Epliogue episode that Bruce didn't and wouldn't want someone else to take his place until Terry stole his Batsuit.

Also, as Waller put it, he wasn't a clone, he was more like his son.

Bruce behaves the way he does, even with false emotional queues, to get the results he desires. You can't take anything he does at face value.

So when the series opened with him saying "never again" and closing up the Bat Cave, I guess that cutaway should have been taken as "and then he proceeded to be Batman again in super secret for another 20 years because Bruce is really that arrogant."

Come on. Rewatch Epilogue or at least a couple episodes of Justice League instead of making up nonsense about what actually happens; Waller had to flatout steal Bruce's DNA . You think she'd need to do that if Bruce was aware of what she was doing and approved of it?

You think he'd approve of them murdering a boy's parents in a tragedy much like what happened to his own (which, incidentally, is what caused Bruce to let Terry become Batman in the opening after almost letting him die) like Waller planned to in Justice League?

In the series that has made it pretty clear that Batman and Waller are very much in opposition when it comes to their goals (See: The episode where Ace is dying and Waller has Bruce go in and kill her...except he doesn't because Batman isn't that type of person)?

Ok, the write-up I read was obviously taking a lot of creative freedoms in their interpretation. Thanks for explaining.
