Q: What is this game really about?
A: This is Walking Dead in VR, featuring actions, RPG and adventure game. You are expected to make various decisions, such as joining or leaving factions, make decisions like killing or saving people. Besides the standard action killing stuffs, you can also craft items with resources too.

Q: Do I have to watch the TV show or read the comic?
A: This game is seemingly an original thing, which means newcomer to TWD franchise can easily jump in.

Q: Is any character from TWD comic/show appearing in this title?
A: The trailers doesn't seem to indicate that the characters from TWD franchise is appearing, but there's no confirmation that they are not appearing too. Its a 50-50.

Q: Wasn't there another Walking Dead VR title? What's the difference?
A: Yes, there's also another VR Walking Dead, titled "The Walking Dead Onslaught". TWD Onslaught is based on the TV show, which means the TV's TWD characters are featured prominently in TWD: Onslaught. In addition, TWD: Onslaught is action-focused.

Q: Any crossbuy for Oculus Quest and Rift?
A: Good news! The developer has confirmed that there is crossbuy for Quest and Rift!

Waiting for the PSVR version. I hope it's handled well with the Move wands, because all of the PC gameplay videos I've seen look stellar. It looks like they've come close to nailing down the Walking Dead experience in VR form, can't wait to eventually try it out.

I really like the look of this, and it seems to be doing a lot more than just being a sort of TWD-infused Arizona Sunshine walking and shooting, which the other TWD VR game has always kinda looked like to me.

So yeah I'm day zero for this. Hope the performance holds up as some of the footage looked a bit rough in areas, otherwise looks fantastic and can't wait to sink my teeth into the campaign.

Pumped for Thursday, let's kill some zombies!

Also I really hope this has proper Index controller support. I believe all dev footage so far has shown them using Oculus Touch.

I've been clamoring for a new zombie VR game since Arizona Sunshine and one that has more physics so i cannot fucking wait. This and the other walking dead game.

I watched a few of the bigger VR youtubers play through this last week and the weight of the weapons, weapon durability it all looks fantastic.

Everything I have seen so far looks very positive, so I went ahead and pre ordered it, which is rare for me :O I loved Arizona Sunshine even though it was a pretty basic game, so this should be a blast.

Kinda reposting from PCVR thread on this video, the thing that stood out to me the most is how flexible the quest system is, any npc can be turned into a zombie, most (if not all) quest givers can be killed at any point even during dialogue. The gameplay and world sounds a lot more emergent than I expected.

The fact we're getting a 15 hour story driven VR game about a month and change from HL: Alyx's release is pretty great. Hope Skydance nailed it.

prayers for a swift rma you should ask for an advanced rma.

they gave me one a few weeks ago and I just got my new controller just in time for saints and sinners.

It actually clicks in the forward position now although I refuse to use these cheap controllers for click to run. I recommend every one change click to run in the steam controllers settings to something else.

Instead of waiting for impressions I will be abusing the refund policy to check out the game and the performance for myself as soon as possible and then decide if I should keep it or not.
