From SEGA Sammy's end-of-year report
There was some confusion as to what the Virtua Fighter announcement was, but it's pretty clear here.
come on dawg :(
This seems to suggest the opposite to me?
Who's "they"? VF is legit
If that let's you sleep better at night, sure.
They actually got a PC version of VF5 now with Yakuza 7, so it could be that. This is only going to be a repurposed, eSports-focused version of VF5, right?
I hope it's more than that, but Virtua Fighter 5 holds up really well, so I honestly couldn't fault them for taking the "easy" route. This is only going to be a repurposed, eSports-focused version of VF5, right?
Is a joke on how part of the FGC doesnt want to be viewed as an "e-sports" and would rather keep its grassroots culture.
Although that sentiment has died a lot lately.
If it makes you feel better, it's a reflection on the FGC. I care about this as much as your own sentiments so far in this thread.
Same thing happened with Tekken 7 and it didn't really cause it trouble. There are benefits to this approach.Very dumb to keep it localized to a single region at first in this day and age.
The original one before I decided to not be mean was "SEGA announces new Virtua Fighter game", so value what you have 🚶‍♀️
You made the right choice here, believe me.The original one before I decided to not be mean was "SEGA announces new Virtua Fighter game", so value what you have 🚶‍♀️
Yeah, but ya know, it's SegaWow everybody's expectation are rock bottom in here. Understandable. It's still an important brand, I believe.
