Uh is that content cut out, or is it just negated by the level 50 boost? I'm not sure the wording is specific enough to say the content isn't actually there, and maybe it's only been made redundant
Its cut out, the separate blogpost about the challenger edition makes it clear.Uh is that content cut out, or is it just negated by the level 50 boost? I'm not sure the wording is specific enough to say the content isn't actually there, and maybe it's only been made redundant
Godfall: Challenger Edition, which allows new players to experience the game's trio of endgame modes, minus the story content of the base game and Fire & Darkness expansions, and grants existing players new exciting features and rewards to enjoy..

It's the bolded.Hm, what "does not include the single player game" means? I thought the PS+ Version have no campaign and just the endgame. I cant play the endgame solo?

But hey! We can upgrade to Deluxe Edition (Not for free ofc.) :D
Why? MP is free for everyone, Campaign is in Game Pass Day1.
This sums it up right here. =/I was curious to try Godfall but that kills any interest. I have no idea why anyone thought that was a good idea.
What ? Infinite is nothing like this.
The PS+ is more comparable to the Live subscription. In my country Game Pass Ultimate costs 150% more without cut.Meanwhile on xbox I am playing Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite. Its ludicrous the gap between the two services right now.
None of that is specific to the Game Pass version of the game...because there's no such thing as a Game Pass version of a game.I was thinking more Forge and co-op coming months later, but really, that doesn't bother me, either. The PS Godfall edition also doesn't bother me.

Nothing to do with GP... If you buy Halo Inifnite you'll get to play those modes the same time as GP subscribers.I was thinking more Forge and co-op coming months later, but really, that doesn't bother me, either. The PS Godfall edition also doesn't bother me.
He's still CEO of Gearbox Entertainment and head of Gearbox Studios, but no longer the head of Gearbox Software. And then there's Gearbox Publishing, headed by Steve Gibson. Is Pitchford still at GearBox? Seems like one of his dumbass ideas.
I don't understand why Godfall of all games gets this treatment.
Plenty of better received, just better in general games have come to PS+ in their original form within the same timeframe. What's so great about Godfall that it still commands a premium to get the full experience?
Even assuming it's Pitchford bullshit, why on earth would Sony be cool with this? It makes their service look chintzy.
You'd think, being an online-only game and all, that they'd want to bump up the player-base as much as they can
So like...
What am I striving for in this version of the game? Yeah I get to taste how the game feels and plays but if there is no story to experience what do I have to do? I have max level and the the rare gear all unlocked so what am I playing the game for.
I guess the coop experience...?
People who actually played Godfall, does this game play so well that the loot and progression held it back? Are we getting the only part of the game that's good?
