Holy shit I love these.
I was going to post that second one. It made me laugh.
It's interesting looking back at the older comics. It used to be completely different and had a much more jokey sense of humor.

This comic has produced one of my favorites of all time.

I feel like this Nathan guy practically gets me on a personal level, and PDL on the other hand is my girlfriend's brain in comic form.

Going to agree. Its like they want to make fun of normal things but it comes off as if the artist is trying too hard.
