Herleys new design is FLAWLESS. Gotta see it in motion but I'm pretty sure it'll end up being one of the best costume designs in any comic book movie ever. Holy shit.
Lolol, I think he talks in other incarnations (but then again so id Groot I think).
No. It's a standalone movie that has no connections to anything as far as I know.

King Shark is capable of speaking normally. But this is just a meme, and has been for a while now, lol.

I mean its obvious a lot of these guys will get killed off instantly (like they aren't giving equal screen time between Idris Elba/Margot Robbie....and Polka Dot Man).
But it still seems like a whose who of "who the fuck are they?"
Not sure this roll call got me hyped at all.
So weird considering that a few of characters from the 1st movie are returning.
100% Gunn wants some goofy ass characters in there. No way they include Weasel and Polka Dot Man otherwise.
Actually Polka Dot Man seems exactly the sort to surprisingly have a long run in the film.
You got a talking weasel and a man called Polka Dot who throws said dots so I'd say yes.
Kinda disappointed Steve Agee isn't getting credited, so he's probably only King Shark on set. Was looking forward to the parallel trajectory of Funches and Agee being standups that competed on Midnight, played bums on New Girl, and now play King Shark.
But since it has some of the same characters, I feel like it has to at least reference the first one. Still think it's wild that they only added The, weird to reboot something after one film.
Suicide Squad is basically community service put to 11. They're criminals with too big of an ego, not super-villains with a professional stylist or costume designer. They're also expendable.
