No. I love Obsidian dearly, but I also let Pillars of Eternity 2 sit for a month to six weeks after buying it at launch to give them time to fix it up and balance it properly.

That's strange. On my app, The Outer Worlds is listed as "Plays on PC" only. Not Xbox, whilst the green "Install on.." button at the bottom just says "Install on PC 37GB".
And KOTOR 2 and Alpha Protocol... looking at their release list nearly all their games have had issues although there's a general upward trend in their QA, at least.
i wouldn't put issues on QA team as they most likely caught all that shit and flagged it. Then just project leads marked them as known shippable issues and jank.
if i can play it on the go, it could literally be 240p and i wouldnt care lol

I'm sure they will announce a content roadmap soon, planning out the next 10 years of consumer interaction.
To be fair, KOTOR 2 and New Vegas were rushed out by their publishers, and in KOTOR 2's case, the game didn't even get finished.
Alpha Protocol came from a weird situation where it was kind of a "B" game they were developing for Sega next to their Aliens RPG which got cancelled. Production went along aimlessly for a long time and the game only took shape about a year before it released.
Disco Elysium has satisfied my isometric Fallout cravings better than this will probably will, tbh. Even if it's good, and I hope it is, I won't buy it right now. Need a palate cleanser first.
Rumour has it Microsoft ordered Obsidian to make sure the PlayStation version is missing the last 3rd of the game. Expect much lower scores for that version. /s
