I am thinking of doing the same thing, I have the game preloaded on my PC already and I might get it pre-loaded on my Xbox as well.Get the much superior version on PC Game Pass on day one and then buy the Switch version. Problem solved.
what's the consensus on what it could be?
NMS was published by Sony on PS4. Just like SLT was published by MS on Xbox. Their subsequent ports to Xbox and Switch had nothing to do with Sony or MS.I might be misunderstanding but what did/does NMS have to do with Sony?
Halo has been the consensus right now. We don't know which game though. The MCC seems way too big.
Man, cross saves for this game would be perfect and I think it would be a great way to convince people to double-dip so they can just continue their progress whenever they leave the house (I guess xcloud existing soon might make it less relevant though? I haven't thought of it much yet...).If they somehow could manage cross-progression or even cross-saves between this port and the PC/XOne versions, that could be a nifty reason to double dip.
ehh... When they announced it, didn't they say they've already been working on it for a couple years? I mean, isn't that already more time than they got with New Vegas and KotOR 2?It's an Obsidian RPG game, so getting it on any console seems like a bad idea when a PC version with fan bug patches exist, but dang, I might consider it on Switch.
Apparently it was only the physical release, which explains why I didn't find anything. Thanks.
I've been wondering this for a while lol. For a while it had a tentative release date of March 2019 I believe, then it just got pushed again.
This comment is gonna be so confusing to people who don't keep up with the rumor thread lol
No telling but all of those had switch ports in progress or are IP's that MS doesn't own. MS just didn't try to stop themCuphead... Hellblade... New Lucky's Tale... And now it's The Outer Wilds. Wonder when will we see directly MS owned franchises on Switch?
I'm definitely getting this. In fact if like to support the devs by buying Pillars of Eternity next week (where the hell is the sequel?).
it's not greed if it's sensiblehow greedy I am, my first thought was wondering if it will have gyro controls lol
doesn't help that both became EGS exclusives and there were threads about them, they got blurred together with each other for me.It's a nightmare keeping the outer worlds and outer wilds apart.
They are. Pillars 1 and 2 are already announced as coming to the Switch.
No news if touch input is supported though.
It is definitely not AAA.
I think there's no doubt it would be possible on a tech level, but it's up to Bethesda otherwise...Oh wow, great get for the switch! Guess no hope for a New Vegas port then eh?

Yeah true dat. I thought those Bethesda games had trouble on ps3 in the past? Something about save files getting too large and corrupted once you've moved too much shit around the world. I don't rmb the exact situation.I think there's no doubt it would be possible on a tech level, but it's up to Bethesda otherwise...
What's to be confused though? It means Mario is coming to PlayStation 😝This comment is gonna be so confusing to people who don't keep up with the rumor thread lol

Yeah, they did, but also Skyrim is on Switch and I'm pretty sure it had some of the same problems on other consoles.Yeah true dat. I thought those Bethesda games had trouble on ps3 in the past? Gamers: We want Fallout New Vegas on Switch!WTF!!!!
So we can't get something like Fallout New Vegas on the Switch, but we can get the next best thing. WOW.
WOW WOW WOWOWOW
Release date for the other versions is October 25th, so since it isn't day and date, a 2019 date is not very likely.Yeah I'm in!
Almost wouldn't mind if it didn't make 2019 though, I've got enough to play!
