No it doesn't. Main menu only shows SP and local multiplayer.

It's extra strange since the old 360 ports of 1 and 2 had online Deathmatch and Co-op.Anybody else find it amusing that Doom, the game that invented deathmatch, has a version that doesn't have any online multiplayer but has added in a mandatory online registration?
I did too and they are both gone from my ready to install page.
thanks! wasnt on there when i checked a few minutes ago but i see it now!
The part in Hell is pretty cool.
You sign in once and don't have to bother with it ever again.
Why do I have to bother at all? I barley touch Bethesda games and I already have Nintendo Online why do I need to sign in for extra crap?
Just log in once and forget about it, don't let a login screen dissuade you from playing DOOM.Why do I have to bother at all? I barley touch Bethesda games and I already have Nintendo Online why do I need to sign in for extra crap?
Pass.
It's not like it costs you money or anything. It's a short, one time inconvenience and you never have to worry about it again. Is it dumb? Sure, but I don't see how it's a reason to not buy the game. Why do I have to bother at all? I barley touch Bethesda games and I already have Nintendo Online why do I need to sign in for extra crap?

So I have to create a new account for some random site I've never heard off to play a game that's almost 30 years old?Just log in once and forget about it, don't let a login screen dissuade you from playing DOOM.
Any Doom 3 impressions on Switch? That's what I'm most curious about.
Lol this thread is pure ERA meltdowns from hype to anger to hype to anger again calm down guys lol
Nobody is saying it's not stupid, but it'll take you like 60 seconds to do it and then you never have to bother with it again. It's certainly not something that should be a deal breaker. So I have to create a new account for some random site I've never heard off to play a game that's almost 30 years old?
I'll probably still get it but it's fucking stupid.
It's not just worthy, it's a full blown masterpiece.
Every Doom game is fucking amazing.
There has yet to be a bad entry in the series.
You don't even have to verify the account; and if you're going to be playing Bethesda games, you'll probably need to use that account going forward, so might as well get it out of the way now.So I have to create a new account for some random site I've never heard off to play a game that's almost 30 years old?

I hereby pledge my support and expectation for Doomslayerguy in Smash.
Doom 1 and 2 are gone too, I had both games and they are gone from my Ready to Install page. And like always it is something minuscule being blown out of proportion. The bigger issue is the one from the other thread where Bethesda is removing the BC version of Doom 3 BFG so you can't redownload it anymore.
beautiful
This is not a minuscule issue. This is Bethesda ensuring that all of their games now have an expiration date. And like always it is something minuscule being blown out of proportion. Best part of the game hands down, the rest of the game isn't so good though, Id could have done better.
How is a one time sign in adding any more of an expiration date than it being digital only? This is not a minuscule issue. This is Bethesda ensuring that all of their games now have an expiration date.
You can boot up a digital only game as long as it's on your hard drive. If you attempt to boot up this new Doom game on a new save or system in 10 years it will be unplayable. How is a one time sign in adding any more of an expiration date than it being digital only?
There is no online only DRM.Oh cool, DOOM on Switch
*sees Bethesda.net account/online only DRM bullshit*
