I think it has to be minratheous, there's the two dragons on the banner (that's the banner for Tevinter) and the floating buildings which are done by blood magic, looks so cool

I was hoping the protagonist of the game would be the same guy we controlled in dragon age origins. It bothers me a bit to have my char finally lead the grey wards of ferelden only to stand aside for the rest of the franchise.
I kinda hoped they would have let us re-use the grey warden from the 1st game. It is disapoiting that he was let go.
Solas is back... damn it... fuck it, I will have my next play-through with him in Inquisition.

Being far removed from DA 1 & 2 Art style is not really a bad thing.

Wasn't the reason why The Warden only have passing mention in Inquisition is because the character simply have too much variable to appear properly ? Unlike Hawke and (probably) Inquisitor.
I assume you haven't played Trespasser ?
They've used different game engines each time, it's fine.Every Dragon Age seems removed from the previous one to be honest. This trailer looked like nothing we saw in previous games. And not in a "this is a new place" kind of way, but in a "this universe has no consistent artstyle" way.
I would really recommend the DLC, it's really good especially TrespasserNo, still neck deep in the regular game. Although I did accidentally see something regarding his path on Youtube. I may pick up the DLCs.
That's definitely not true for this one, this just looks like Goldman's concept art but 3d.Every Dragon Age seems removed from the previous one to be honest. I wouldn't call this cgi teaser far removed from Inquisition.Every Dragon Age seems removed from the previous one to be honest. This trailer looked like nothing we saw in previous games. And not in a "this is a new place" kind of way, but in a "this universe has no consistent artstyle" way.
You should 100% play Trespasser. It set up Dragon Age 4 and (imo) the best Dragon Age content since Origins/Awakening.
Ohh, didn't see the dragons, hope we see the golems tooI think it has to be minratheous, there's the two dragons on the banner (that's the banner for Tevinter) and the floating buildings which are done by blood magic, looks so cool
possibly but EA certainly has the capital to fund the game. Despite being an extreme challenge to have such a char (specially to make it interesting to newcomers) i still hoped Bioware would take the challenge head on instead of just letting it go.Wasn't the reason why The Warden only have passing mention in Inquisition is because the character simply have too much variable to appear properly ? I chose to have a child with the witch. Having a child with the archdemon souls was too interesting to pass up. pity it didn't ammount to anything. I was hoping it would have made for interesting twists in the sequels.
I can see where you are coming from. I still think my char had a few more adventures in him specially as he finally managed to actually lead a (supposedly strong) grey warden company.I used to be where you are on this but I think the Warden's story is told. And I like that they are sticking to the concept that Dragon Age is not about any singular person. It is the story of Thedas in the Dragon Age.

Personally starting at the head of a powerful elite organization is much more interesting then rethreading the "rise to power hero trope" that the inquisition did
EA already said to not expect this game before 2022Is this actually coming out?
Didnt we get this tease like two years ago?
EA said not to expect the game until 2022 or later. I'm guessing fall 2022 at the earliest. Is this actually coming out?

It's wild how big a gap it's been between these games. As much time has passed between Trespasser and now as there was between Origins and Inquisition.
No, yeah, I'm sure that's why. It sucks but alas. At least we're still getting 4 eventually!
Yea, the 10 year story was great as well with the family dynamic but they didn't stick the landing. I still enjoyed it though.I think DA2 was the strongest hook of the three games - just a refugee working his way up in the world - so, creatively, this is exactly the sort of thing I'm interested in.
Tevinter looks crazy.
For how quick they slapped it together, it was just fine. And the DLC was decent too.Yea, the 10 year story was great as well with the family dynamic but they didn't stick the landing. I still enjoyed it though.
Looks promising.
Still concerned re. The guy from Anthem taking over though.
I thought it was announced at the 2018 game awards.EA said not to expect the game until 2022 or later. I'm guessing fall 2022 at the earliest.
He isn't taking over Dragon Age 4 or anything. Matthew Goldman's still in charge of it.
Matt's the director. It's Management vs. Vision.Could have sworn the announcement said there was a new executive producer coming in for the entire Drago Age series
